I see what you mean. I'm assuming that Capcom's assuming that they'd just slap a DMC related name to a face and have the backstory/story somewhat related to the original content. And the reps are claiming that the combat system is heavily influenced by the original games which I don't completely agree with at all. Sure they kept aspects of the original like the air juggling, switching weapons on the fly for extended combos, and the grading system. But it's a...
Friggin' Sephiroth in KH 1 & 2 were super friggin' annoying, until I figured out how to beat them. Yea, I know that they were optional, but I was a completionist back then. Had to do/get everything in whatever game I played.
Reboot to me means to start over, and that's exactly what Capcom and NT are doing with this game. Obviously there are always people who will like and hate reboots (I fall into the latter). I'm usually never fond of reboots unless there is enough wrong with the original that warrants a reboot (example in this case is DMC). I (as well as many others) never felt that there was a need for a reboot of the series. Sure there are plot holes and whatnot, but it's not like they couldn'...
Agreed. I would rather play a prequel revolving around Sparda's story than this sorry excuse for a DMC game. I tried to be optimistic about this game. When I saw the first gameplay trailer I was like, "It might actually be a good game." But the more I saw about it, the more I started disliking it. Never liked Dante's look (it was Capcom's choice, not NT's), combat looks too over simplified and not as smooth as previous games. Seriously, they could get DMC 3, which is ...
I would kill for a Rogue Galaxy sequel. Pair that up with an HD remake of the first game and I'd buy it instantly.
I remember playing that level in TMNT for the first time. Took me 2 weeks to get past it, (back then I was more tolerant about difficulty). After I finally beat it, the friggin game got even more difficult as you went on. To this day that level still pisses me off and have never beaten the game. The only person I've ever witness beat the game was my cousin. He pretty much played that game everyday and perfected that underwater dam level.
There was a rumor going around that they are making an HD version for PS3/Vita (PS3 version being part of the PSP Remastered series), and that that version would be localized. I doubt it's ever going to happen.
I want an HD remake of Black. Make it happen Criterion.
Still waiting on that Final Fantasy 6 remake Squenix.
Would probably get this for LA Noire (which I haven't played yet) and RDR (brother sold my copy). I already have the entire GTA IV Collection on my PC and couldn't really care about Midnight Club.
Everyone saw it coming. People shouldn't be surprised, instead we should be extremely disappointed.
I agree with the article that it was a bad move to release both games on the same date. Should've released one or the other a month or so ahead of schedule, and implemented the cross buy feature. Also, they should've advertised Liberation more or as much as they did AC3. I feel that AC:L didn't get as much exposure and could be the system pusher Sony needs for the Vita. We'll see what happens after the holiday season.
Oh, but Capcom is making another Mega Man game. Just not the one fans want. It's called Rockman Xover I believe. For now it's an iOS exclusive game.

Also heard that it has an auto-play function. Whereas the game plays itself.
This game has ruined the Fire Pro name.
I don't think that co-op is needed for the campaign mode. GTA has always been about the single player experience. What they did with GTA IV was fine. Keep the multiplayer separate.
And I'm jealous because?
Probably not going to have another KI game. Just them trademarking the name ala Sony with Legend of Dragoon so that no one else can use it.
So, since there's no wifi functionality, I can't play along with my brother on his 3DS? That's a bummer.
Yeah, DNF is a sequel. Read somewhere that Gearbox is rebooting Duke Nukem after they're done with their current projects.
Still have not played this game. Played the previous 2 on the PS3 and loved every minute of it. Damn difficult (cheap difficulty might I add) game. Only played a demo of NG3 and was not impressed. Will probably wait until I get a WiiU and pick this version up.
