well, seeing that this seems to be a single player game that by default kinda makes in not a clone. If I recall Left 4 dead was on line and touted the fact that you played as a team.
The only similarities I see is that there are Zombies in the game and that it takes place on the planet earth.

I really don't understand the problem? I watched the Jimmy Fallon segment and the game looked stellar. DICE works magic on the PS3 and most other platforms that they develop for. If there are a bunch of flat-heads that don't understand that although the PS3 is still pretty impressive piece of hardware it could never compete with modern PC hardware. Although I believe that this probably happened, I don't think that is should reflect on the company as a whole. Personally, I have never had a problem at a gamestop, They never attempted to "force" anything on me. They have never attempted to coerce me into get a particular console or to buy a used game, They have asked if I am interested in renewing my power up card, which I do because I really like game informer.

I think that it is hilarious that people think Because MS is generally a software company they are somehow superior in creating an Operating system or that they make the "best" OS. Just because Windows is popular and MS has a monopoly in the OS space doesn't mean that they make a superior product.
