Last time I checked the only way Ms can make a stable server is to use Linux or BSD. That is what they used to run Hotmail on for years before they were found out.

cross game chat is rarely useful and frequently annoying.

Nothing more annoying than getting into a game and someone wants to chat with you. I had that happen when I was playing bioshock campaign on my 360...I think it was the second replacement, what a way to pull you from the story.

I still stick to my statement about all the glassy-eyed 360 fanboys telling people that they should run out and waste their money on a 360 + the yearly fee.
Frankly, you guys need to let the professional Ad agencies for Microsoft "sell" the 360. after all, anyone else comes off as an asinine idiot.

either you are a newbie 360 owner or a pathetic troll, because a couple of years ago around the Christmas holiday XBL was down for TWO FULL WEEKS.
The funny thing, nobody gave it half as much publicity as what is happening now with PSN. No blogs about MS "never recovering" or that 360 owners should go and get a PS3 or any other such NONSENSE that I am seeing posted here on N4G from Blogs and Opinion pieces. pathetic...

I can just see it now, A grim network news reporter on TV: Because PSN has been down for a few days Sony as a company has gone out of business, thousands are out of work. who knew that PSN being off line would effect everything from Flat screen production,movie ticket sales, cd/dvd/br disc sales, small electronics, Stereo/home theater equipment sales, home automation ect......

I thought Apple drones were bad, to ACTUALLY suggest getting a 360 because PSN is down temporarily is really sad and pathetic.

The writer of this blog is probably one of those A$$ clowns that keeps and extra 360 in his closet for when his main one has to be sent to Texas for repairs. (and yes there are actually (stupid)people that do that.

17 years driving one of those damn things, to even THINK of playing garbage truck driver gives me a migraine headache.

But, I know how this game can get a 90+ metacritic score, make the driver look like mario and have Miyamoto say he made it. apparently that is all a Nintendo fan needs for a game to be great.

@MARIOFTW, Well I am quite sure that there are people out there that think that Halo is a milked franchise. But, to me, when there are 27+ sequels and spin offs to halo and God Of War then I will start making fun of the boors that cannot get enough of them.
Maybe it is because I am older than 12 and am not stimulated by sameness.

@Squatch83, as for sports games and sports in general, it's garbage and about as interesting as wombat offal.
