What a lousy ending. Fans pretty much hated the Arbiter in Halo 2... so let's have more Arbiter in Halo 3, hooray! The audio and video in the clip were pretty poor, so I had a hard time distinguishing some things. A very somber and boring finale, if you ask me. Hopefully some ridiculously huge boss fight preceded that cutscene. A bad ending isn't going to stop anyone from getting this game, though -- just look at Halo 2. It will be interesting to see how this is received, ratings-wise.

To all the people who say they "feel dumber (is that a word?) for reading this," why is that? Is it because you think this is some sort of photoshopped pranking? Well, think again. Visit any video game website and pull up the boxart for Super Mario Galaxy. The little stars are there! This is not fake! Now, whether this was intentional or a coincidence (one hell of a coincidence if you ask me) is a different story entirely. Now, if you said you feel "dumber" because this &q...
"Yes, I'd like a number five with a Sprite and a side order of Halo 3, thank you."
Great preview. I've been kind of on the fence about this game, but I'm definitely leaning towards the "buy" side. This preview certainly added to my confidence that this won't be another Resident Evil: Survivor. I'm looking forward to playing this with the Zapper. I wonder which will be available first?
Ridiculously awesome!
Graphics-wise, it gives me that "Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube" feeling. Watch the game be really short, though. No matter -- nothing wrong with short games. This one's a must-buy for me!
...haven't updated since the 10th, but I'm not really that upset; they'll get it fixed soon and the game's so fun the only time I even think about my stats is when I log on/off. Oh, and I see the problem with the rooms, but honestly, it's not THAT hard to get into one. It takes me about three tries on average and then I'm good to go.
...call this a 'mishap.' I work at a Game Crazy and I could have told you a week ago that we wouldn't have the game until the 13th. That's the way it goes for any game that isn't 'street dated.' The same thing happened with Metroid. The release date everywhere listed it as the 27th, but Nintendo's site said "In stores August 28th." That's because games almost always ship the day they're "released" and arrive the following day, with some special exceptions. This is not a &q...
Never thought about Bale, but he might actually work. Kurt Russell should definitely make a cameo appearance or something, though (and if anyone doesn't know why, shame on you).
...with the general consensus of these comments; a demo just wouldn't work for Warhawk. However, rental stores (Hollywood Videos, at least) are carrying copies of Warhawk, so if you're not convinced yet, at least you can try it out. In the end, though, I also agree with what a lot of people are saying: just buy it! It's a really fun game at a really good price, whether you get it on the PSN or in stores (the headset works great).
I'm surprised your PS3 didn't explode for doing that to it.
Err, I hope you don't seriously think this was a blunder by Sony (you can never quite be too sure on these message boards nowadays). This is at a Blockbuster, so someone who works there just brought in a Halo 3 trailer and uploaded it onto the PS3.
A respectable opinion. Thank you for responding with something thoughtful and coherent -- two traits often lost on these message boards. Personally, there's a 75% chance I would have bought the Zapper even without the tacked-on game. Now, I'm not the kind of guy who buys the Wii Remote grips and the Wii Remote sword and steering-wheel attachments, but there's just something about the Zapper that just seems appealing to me. And the fact that it comes with an original and exclusive game just sw...
...if somehow you could pump the DS's volume controller higher than its limit, so when you're playing this on the go, a least a good radius of people will know how righteously you're rockin' out.
...a release date as well? We'll have to wait and see.
...to realize what was funny.
There's a lot of conferences going on right now in Vegas -- I know, my manager gets to go to one next week. They get TONS of cool stuff. He's expecting they're all gonna get copies of Halo 3. Yeah, the stuff is THAT cool. So I wouldn't be at all surprised if this rumor was valid. It sounds like something Nintendo would do, and it sounds one hell of a lot better than Duckhunt or Ghost Squad. I'll buy it, even though essentially I'm paying 20 smackers for a mini-game and a hunk of plastic.
It's good to see that a decent amount of time and creativity is going into not only the main features of this game, but also stuff like this. I'd love to see similar footage somewhere in the final game itself. I can't wait -- $200 will be a steal for the time I'm gonna spend with this baby!
Whoa, that was awesome.
...is ridiculous.
