I can't wait to get my hands on the Beta, but I have a funny feeling it's just gonna leave me wanting more! Sony's givin' me gaming fever -- I don't know if I can wait until next year when this game releases for the cure!
We got seven in at Game Crazy last Wednesday. They didn't last a day. We've been getting shipments of between two and five just about every week -- seven was a shocker. The best policy if you're looking for a Wii? Call everywhere, everyday.
...this is some pretty decent stuff. Eject button, for the win!
And I've never felt better about soiling myself! WOO!
This does mean the US store is getting it, too, right?
Pooting eggs and falling asleep?
This peripheral will surely teach children to shoot each other. Let's slap an AO rating on it! (Hopefully, you all can detect my sarcasm.)
Oh, and keep this away from Richard Cheney.
In my opinion, no Silent Hill game has come close to Silent Hill 2 yet. The story was AMAZING and it introduced one of the most iconic creatures in the horror genre (I shouldn't even have to mention whom). Silent Hill 3 had a lot of good scares and actual "boss fights" and Silent Hill 4 had a pretty intricate plot and some good atmospheric unease, but nothing gets to me like a dark and twisted love story. Let's hope Silent Hill V can stay fresh and original.
I was gonna comment the same thing, although the idea is pretty simplistic, so I wouldn't exactly call it a "rip-off."
I think Sonic's a perfect a deserving fit for Smash Bros. Let's hope that SEGA approves.
There's a few videos where you can see him in action. It appears he'll have a number of CQC-like attacks and combos (like is standard punch, punch, spin kick from the series). It also appears as though he'll be able to roll into a prone position (although it's not clear how this will be helpful yet) and his down special attack involved blasting an RPG into the ground a few virtual feet in front of him.
I always love updating my PS3; it's come a long way in a little amount of time. A PS button clock would be hella nice. I think the PS3 is the only electronic device in my home that has a hard time telling me the time! I just wanna log into the PlayStation Store and see the Home Beta sitting there. Then I'll be excited.
I can't wait to shred it out in Guitar Hero Encore! Hopefully, it'll satisfy my itch to rock until Guitar Hero III lands sometime around October.
I wouldn't be surprised if we saw some sorta Nintendogs on the Wii as well. The DS and Wii are a nice complement to one another since they have similar control aspects. The fact they both have Wi-Fi opens up worlds of possibilities as well.
Resistance: Fall of Man, MotorStorm, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma are some really great exclusive titles. The Darkness is short but sweet, and Rainbow Six Vegas has very addictive multiplayer. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is great, too, if that's your thing. You can always rent a few games as well. Oh, and don't forget to pre-order some big ones while you're there; Lair comes out next month, Heavenly Sword in September, and Rock Band later this year! See you on Home!
This guy usually thinks great movies suck, so it's no surprise to me that he hates on video games, too. Not only can games be "high" art, games can be "high" art on so many levels! From level design to the soundtrack, how can the summation of so many artist elements not equal a work of interactive art? Now, I realize that some games are complete garbage as well, but anyone who plays Okami or Metal Gear Solid 2 and tells me "games aren't art" is blind, deaf, and d...
When I first saw trailers for this game back when the PS3 first came out, I wasn't really interested. But, month after month this game keeps looking better and better. With its release only a month away, I have to admit I'm pretty excited now. I'm still a little skeptical about the Sixaxis controls, so hopefully there will be an option to use the analog sticks as well. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think any multiplayer has been planned for this game, either, or has it? Locking talons ...
I loved the game. It had a good plot, good voice acting, and an enormous attention to detail. It's major downfall is that if you disregard the side-quests, the main story takes about a max of six hours to beat on normal difficulty. You have to admit, that's short, even for a shooter.
...but are the people who bought Xbox 360's solely to play a shooter going to dabble with something else? Eh, I'm not so sure. I know a lot of people that never woulda played Halo if it wasn't a shooter, despite being a quality game it is. Sad but true. Maybe Halo will reach a new audience with this game? I know Microsoft hopes so.
It kinda seems like it should have "come standard," but it's not a feature I particularly find to be that important. I'd rather Sony focus their efforts on something new.
It's bad enough the thing's called a Wii.... So long as the next WarioWare doesn't require sucking on the remote, I'll let this slide.
