It's a shame their acronym couldn't have been IDIOTS. I find it hilarious that they want the game re-rated JUST because of "drunk driving." Um, did they miss the part where you sodomize (then kill) hookers? I guess they'll let "Mothers Against Sodomizing Hookers" deal with that one.
Loot Ninja, that is. The author of this is a complete idiot. Our Game Crazy store is about 30 by 60 square feet. Pre-orders are a way to determine the size of allocation each store is gonna need, because they just can't send every store 200 copies of every game that comes out. Why? Do I need to answer that? There's nowhere to put them! The reason Target and Wal-mart have GTA's falling out the ass is because they're freakin' warehouses! It's simple: if you LIKE your local GameStop/Game Crazy, ...
...and I finally got through! I'm finally all set -- update downloaded, KONAMI ID registered -- what could POSSIBLY go wrong?
Ahem.
If only I had a KONAMI ID... and a GAME ID....
Actually, the image on the web doesn't do it justice. I took a close look at it today at work and the watermark is clear as day, so long as you're looking in the right spot.
O, Capcom, what has happened to you? It's been a downward spiral ever since the Devil May Cry 4 fiasco. I gotta head into work this morning (Game Crazy) and you can bet your ass this is the first thing I'ma check out.
I realize this is just a beta test, but that's the sad part, because Konami's got their crap so F'd in the A, half of us probably won't be ready for the beta by Monday! Why, o, why couldn't they have just left the technical stuff for Sony? I hear they're adding more servers in anticipation of a rush. Um, a-duh. All I can say is good luck, everyone, and I HOPE to see you on the battlefield!
The funniest thing about this article, is that it's actually a brilliant idea. Of course Nintendo's nowhere near ready for a DLC campaign of that magnitude, but I guarantee you there's a lot of people out there that would happily shell out more moolah for extra dungeons in Zelda or new characters in Brawl.
This guy's a moron. I watched the tutorials and I had no trouble whatsoever playing the game. Maybe he should have took notes.
Especially Zero Suit Samus.
"People can read and watch things about the Holocaust, they do not need these kinds of games."
Uh, logic, anyone?
...don't let them play Uno. You're just asking for trouble.
But the reason he didn't get a Spider-Man 3 BD is most likely because the 40GB PS3 don't come with it anymore. I work at a game store and our most recent shipment of PS3s had a completely different box art that clearly removed the Spider-Man 3 BD. A limited time promotion, it seems. No big loss.
I'd be surprised NOT to see him in some shape or form. Didn't Kojima say at one point that'd he'd be including every major Metal Gear character in MGS4, even if just in spirit (like you have with the BB Corp.)? Just look at the trailers -- Meryl, Eva, even Metal Gear REX -- they're all back. I'm sure there will be SOME reference to Solidus somewhere.
Especially since we are FORCED to do a midnight launch at Game Crazy. You'd think every GameStop would be required to do one, too, especially with that big, fancy tournament they got going. I'd say that there's a good chance that the guy he talked to probably doesn't work there enough to know what the hell is really going on.
Pity, that is, for everyone who's fallen for the same damn trick every damn year.... The nude cheat for DOA, Lord of the Rings kart racer, non-cel-shaded Wind Waker remake.... If one damn person comes into my store and asks to pre-order this, I'ma smack him in the face.
OK, so I know the supposed release date for Lost Planet was stated to be February 26th a long time ago, and the PSN demo confirms a "February" release, but there's one little thing that concerns me. On the official US PlayStation website, there's a small scroll window that lists upcoming games (among other things) near the bottom of the page. My concern is that Lost Planet isn't on the list, yet games scheduled to come out before and after it are (Army of Two, etc.). Now, in the pas...
I'm actually really, really looking forward to Lost Planet. I got to play the first few stages of the single player on our Xbox 360 at work and I've recently tried the multiplayer demo on the PSN and I can't wait to play the whole thing! Giant bosses, great graphics, mech suits, what's not to love? I've always been a huge Capcom fan and I know already that I'll be spending plenty of time with this one!
Ports? No. Sequels? Yes. Pikmin 3 would be a no-brainer for the Wii, but Pikimin 2: Wii Edition would be a mistake. The same goes for Animal Crossing, which I think would also work great on the Wii. The thing with Nintendo is, you can pretty much guarantee you'll see all your trademark Nintendo characters in their very own titles sooner or later -- and rightly so, because that's one of the things everyone loves about Nintendo. Remember, after Brawl and Mario Kart, Nintendo is still going to n...
So is the demo and such only for the UK store, or can the US expect to get the Haze demo and Motorstorm 2 video later today as well?
