That is the question. I guess it wouldn't hurt, though -- maybe just a peek.
On a side note, as awesome as this game looks, you'd probably be surprised at how many people AREN'T hyped about this game or haven't even heard of it. I work at a game store and nearly every Wii owner I speak with has no idea what "Metroid Prime" is.
One interesting point is that when most people hear "Blu-ray" or "HD DVD," they immediately think "movies." And while movies have been the primary content for these two formats, you have to remember that outputting in hi-def isn't the only amazing feature about these formats -- their incredible storage capacities open a world of possibilities, especially for video gaming. While movies may not need 25GB of space (single-layer Blu-ray), games, on the other hand, co...
Not sure what to say about this one. It could be real.
Key word: COULD.
I haven't done quite that much research, but I know the gimmick of the game is that you play as a squad of four warriors who you can switch between on the fly due to the fact that the player's character is killed at the beginning of the game and you "possess" your teammates. Reminiscent of Geist for the GCN. Now, whether the game will feature true co-op play, I'm uncertain of, but the game mechanics lend to the idea that it wouldn't be that farfetched.
Could be. One thing's for sure: this game is shaping up to be gruesome.
I like.
Parents won't.
Both of them? At the same place? At the same time? I'll get my pipe bombs ready....
If removing this feature would have meant just enough space to squeeze one more character into the game, I would've been all for it.
...TO THE EXTREME!
EA irks me....
It's all the justification I need, man.
Even if you've never heard of the songs and the bands, it's still a hella fun game to play! I admit, it's always a rush to find out you'll be able to play one of your favorite songs, but Guitar Hero is also a great way to hear some stuff you've never heard before! Heck, you might find a new favorite song! Definitely give it a try.
I thought that last thread smelled a bit fishy.
Damn, man, what rock have you been under?
The Metallica lawsuits return! Huzzah!
All this over frame rate issues!
Thank God both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions came out on the same date or we could be sitting in the middle of WWIII right now.
I love to see this game get ANY sort of recognition. I enjoyed about 100 times more than Twilight Princess.
FAMOUS effin' LAST WORDS! Out of all the download packs one could expect, this was probably the least likely, but holy hell, MCR! I'm a little jealous I don't own the Xbox 360 version now, and even more jealous because now that they made the song for 360, it probably won't show up on later iterations. Bah. Well, at least this a a good sign for MCR fans -- maybe we'll see more of them in Guitar Hero III and/or Rock Band. I'd love to see I'm Not Okay in Rock Band!
So you put $59.99 on a Halo 3 themed gift card.... Explain to me again how this "guarantees" your copy on launch day?
...when you need him? I can't stand Dr. Phil. My mom used to watch him on Oprah all the time. The guy thinks he knows everything and if he believes something's wrong or immoral, then it's gotta be. I seriously hope this guy gets GTA'd.
Well, do you feel like racing or destroying everything in sight? DiRT's not bad, but I definitely think Warhawk belongs in every online gamer's PS3 showcase. Plus, the Jabra BT125 headset included in the retail version is a huge bonus in my book.
