...you're talking about the same guys who are making both the PS3 and PC versions. The article mentioned that Epic is going check and see if cross-platform connection is feasible for UT3, regardless of the possible technical hurdles in which they probably already know. The only people who can truly say "it's not gonna happen" are the Epic people themselves.
The idea of mouse and keyboard support sounds more like a given than a possibility, as the PS3 has built-in USB ports for USB compatible keyboard and mouse.
TO EVERYONE:
VideoGames4Life is a dedicated troll, not a gamer. The guy survives by enjoying your disgusts at him! Ignore the idiot and hopefully he'll go away.
N4G-----the best gaming site in the 'Net!!
LOL! But that would make us....N4G fanboys!! First MS vs Sony fanboys, now N4G fanboys (Sony and MS combined) vs fanboys of a different site!! I find that really surreal!
@ktchong,
Hey, bunghole, how the heck do you know it's us?!? For all I know, the spammer could be YOU posing as a Sony fanboy as to bring discredit to all PS3 owners. If you want a truly low-life, fanboy scumbag, you might want to check your Xbot compadre VideoGames4Life. Oh, wait! YOU ARE VideoGames4Life!!
Is this some kind of a prank joke or something that I'm not getting?
@ VideoGames4Life,
Wow, are you really that pathetic (probably more so than the douchebag above you) as to go to a PS3 article and post an anti-PS3 rally message and video? It makes me wonder if you're somehow employed or some way affiliated with Al-Qaida, since only people with that kind of intelligence do these kinds of stuff.
Funny how pathetic Xbots like you would diss a PS3 feature as either a "cheap copy of MS" (even if it vaguely resembles an MS thing) or a "cheap gimmick" (for something that is totally original and that MS lacks). Seriously, those are like the only "intelligent" (cough, cough) things you douchebags have to say. To me, that smacks jealousy.
The idea of a 'clan space' (no, not that 'klan') in Home Space is pretty much a given. Right now I could imagine such space resembling a cyberspace version of a college fraternity house. ;)
With millions of PS3 owners worldwide, this would be the 'myspace' of Sony, only far more interactive (no more waiting for e-mails to communicate)!
That's assuming that Microsoft can cover the cost of repairing every defective Xbox 360s (not even including the possibility of the cost of replacing every defective, 'old chip' 360s with Falcon-chipped 360s).
Not trying to flamebait or anything, I'm just saying the potential obstacles to a $200 Xbox 360.
Cost of the game: $60
Cost of PSN: $0
Cost of mod, skin, etc,...: $0
Cost of fun for game with Gears of War-quality graphics from the same maker: Priceless!!
There are really truly somethings that money cannot buy!!
EDIT: Hmmm, I wonder what could have caused someone to disagree with my post so freakin' quick? Oh, I get it...it's the "Gears of War-quality graphics".
Let me guess...you're new. Oh, wait, you are!! Unfortunately, you stumbled on an xbox 360 article listed under the PS3 heading (don't ask me why), which would probably explain why there are so many Sony fanboys. For your comment that there seems to be more Sony fanboys, I disagree. There are equal numbers of MS fanboys prowling around...trust me. Nintendo fanboys...um, let's just leave that subject for now.
BUT, if you're so much worried about this site being "flooded wi...
I would have to admit that the game's graphics look very PS2-ish, only with smoother animations. Though the gameplay is still the same, hope it's not a laggy game like its PS2 counterpart.
Nonetheless, this game will be addictive as heck.
@rhezin,
Hey dude, you look lost!! Whereas everybody else is complaining that it is pretty much the same 5-year old game, you insult it as a clone of a game that fairly recently came out.
Funny, your post only serves to "self-incriminate" you as a fanboy who lives in his mother's basement. Seriously, you talk like one.
Oh, the sweet irony...
Enjoy it, bud! I only played the first game, but it rocked!! Can't imagine the 4th!!
@Jeremy Gerard,
"AV geeks spend 500 bux and up for their toys...at least not console gamers."
Um, by that logic of yours, I can safely say that you either get your games for FREE, from second-hand bins of gaming stores, play console games that belongs to a friend/relative, not into online multiplayer, you have some shallow interest in games, or simply all of the above.
Seriously, with games costing $60 (and growing) a pop, headsets, hard ...
I certainly hope that SOCOM is just as lag free as Resistance online.
If there isn't anything that you like then don't buy the system. PS3 and Xbox 360 are two consoles that cater to different tastes (something that is lost to fanboys of both sides). If you're into Japanese or Japanese-esque games (walking mechs, anime, RPG, etc)then the PS3 is for you. If you're heavily into PC or PC-esque games (Halo series, Tom Clancy games, RTS, etc) then the Xbox 360 is for you.
As for me, I am more into Japanese-esque side of console gaming (that's why I...
@ Cook1eman,
So what if the current gen. of consoles are a bit slower than the PC and multi-plaform matches would never work? That is pretty much saying that consoles don't evolve over time. Remember, car racing sims, FPS, RTS, and others were once the domain of the PC gaming world, due to obvious technological differences. Now you see those genres sucessfully ported in both consoles. Consoles may be a bit slower than their PC counterparts, but those issues would be resolved ...
