Damn, Kilgore, that's one of my favorite lines.
Okay... So, my interpretation of your comment is that Sony decided to release the RECENT figures as a way to hide the fact they didn't actually sell RECENTLY. Funny, but whoever posted that article (the NPD article) possibly had the same agenda. Though I won't argue that the PS3 wasn't exactly selling like hotcakes in June '07, the RECENT figures were based on consumer trends AFTER the JULY E3 event.
EDIT: That greatly clears a whole lot, Razer. Thanks for the reply. And oh,...
Good one there, Bathyj! To be honest with you, I have never personally seen anyone with a SACD. As a matter of fact, the only SACD player that I only do know of is my (drumrolls, please)...PS3! Because of that, it's pretty much ho-hum what happens to SACD, as long as I get to play all the good games coming up.
@VirusE,
I do have the same problem, but not as bad as before. I still get the "drunk" controller symptoms like EZCheese once in a while. My question to you VirusE is whether you use a bluetooth headset. I used to have a (piece of sh!t) Motorola H350 headset which, according to us.playstation.com forum (and verified by my experience), can cause your controller to disconnect or even your system to crash. Ever since I changed to Plantronics Explorer 330, I never had ...
Hey Ali G, you're a....oh, wait, you only got ONE bubble. No need to argue. That lone bubble explains a lot by itself.
@EZCheez,
It's really true that we have to defend the rights of others, even if they disagree with us. Well, unless they start going after us.
@HowarthsNJ,
Never knew that! I wish that people knew more about this instead of just plain bashing Sony.
... Jason a former soldier and a gamer!! Who would have ever thought? Oh, wait...that's also me!
Anyway, I know this is gonna be off-topic, but thanks for your service, Jason (I don't get that a lot myself), even though our system of choice is...different. Hey, at least when it comes to "service/branch fanboyism", I at least know we're gonna be on the same boat. ;)
@Puregamer,
To be honest with you, that was unncecessary and a bit off-topic. ...
Well spoken, buddy!! I couldn't have said it any better!! More bubbles for you...um..er, if this site lets you have more bubbles!!
Seeing fanboys say crap only to eat their words IS the fun of it all!! I mean, really, there are times when I can't help but laugh after seeing those fanboys get humiliated because of their very own words.
Fanboys exists in all spectrum of society. It's sad that most people think that the term only exists for video game nerds. In my own experience, video game fanboyism mostly exists within the Internet (forums, website, etc.)and not really outside the computer. The most people can say in "real, personal life" is that "x" console sucks or "buy that 'coz it's better", but never an open argument (seriously, who actually goes out in open debate about consoles in per...
Dude, you just answered your own question!!
@Jenzo,
Nope, were not bashing Halo. We're just saying that it shares some similarities with sci-fi movies. And for everyone's information: Many of today's games got their inspirations one way or another from movies. As a matter of fact, can anyone identify a big-name game in which no similarities from anything can be found?
To be honest with everyone, the article's credibility, w/o any link, has no credibiity whatsoever. I also find it odd how stories of Capcom's "supposedly" anti-PS3 leaning are spreading like wildfire after E3.
The one thing that struly strikes me is how Capcom's "arguments" are running counter to what is really going on, such as PS3 sales rising up, PSP sales are also catching up and just below the DS. Also, great PSP titles are also coming out (God of W...

Little Big Planet: The ability to customize almost everything!
Sony needs to implement or support more of this kind to its multiplayer games. This is a great way to attract more gamers (especially the hard-core PC gamers) as it is more unique (in the console wars, at least) and better than trying to match Xbox Live and only end up being accused of "copying" MS.
Not a case of incomplete, but rather a case of "test and see" of how new features will be implemented and whether they will work at all. In case you don't remember, the Jaguar controller had numerous input pads which promises gameplay features to be used in the near future. Alas, such promises never showed up, and the Jaguar system became a fiasco that ultimately brought down the once mighty Atari.
Had Sony released these "future controller implements" dur...
@FordGTGuy,
LOL!! You make it sound like Sony fans have yet to enjoy it, considering it first came out for the PS1!! Well, actually that's mostly true for "original", older PS fans. Anyway, like the guy above me, it's a good thing you enjoyed it on the XBLA; it's proof that the classics are still fun to play.
This game brings me back memories of my old high school days. The soundtrack, especially the chapel theme, make the perfect Halloween music. Speaking of the chapel, the part with the 'confessional booth' was surprisingly the freakiest part of the game for me!!
You might want to save $10 by waiting for the redesigned Dracula X coming for the PSP (the exact Symphony copy is included in the game), unless you're really dying (pun not intended) to get some vampire whippin'.
As a happy PS3 owner myself, I personally don't care if MGS4 or FFXIII gets ported to Xbox 360. Reason? I would still be able to play them on my system of choice, and that Sony's excellent first-party titles are more than likely to keep us "Sony fans" happy for a long time 'till PS4. No offense to 360 owners, but the only games that I'm interested are Gears of War and Dead Rising. Now that said, I'm not saying that your 360 games or the 360 itself are bad (they are great), it's j...
