@DrPirate,
Holy guacamole!! You have got to be my long lost intellectual twin!! I'm speechless!! LOL!!
I second that Reburn!! Yup, the games when played on Hi-Def TV looks a little too stretched. Currently finishing Final Fantasy XIII right now using my 60gig PS3 and it took me a while "to get over" with the stretched looks. Oh, the price of technology change...
The anticipation for this game might even rival that of Halo 3. Now for the disclaimer: I'm not saying that this would be a "Halo Killer" nor am I bashing Halo, BUT this game (if Sony would put a little media glitz and hype in this game prior to launch) might match Halo 3 in terms of hype (but not going overboard).
@Maddens Raiders,
Soon South Park will make WarHawk parody episode called "The SoreHawks" like the "Make Love not Warcraft" episode.
Dude, 60 freakin' players online will be massively insane!! I can finally look forward to the day I retire my COD4 disc.
How about this for enthusiasm:
Resistance 2= ROCK 'N ROLL!!
BIG PARTY at my house the night before launch!! Free drinks and food available!! Uber hot girls will be present!! Music will be provided by rock bands THE FALL OF MAN and HALE THE CHIMERA live!! Oh yeah!!
Oh, no!! Not another comparison video!!
Don't forget...the PS3's upgradeable!! Hooah!!
When I used to be a regular Gamespot user around the time of the PS3's initial release, many 360 die-hards were predicting that the PS3 will die just simply because of a "dead-on-arrival" format called Blu-Ray. Now with recent events, MS fanboys are now simply twisting their hate and saying that the PS3 is good only because of its chosen format.
Keyser, you forgot about the popularity of free, "user made stuff" like Little Big Planet and UT3 mods...along with PS3 themes. If Sony further expands on this, they will have something that MS wished they had thought at the very beginning. That's not even including your points and the potential of Home!
Just one more bubble to go!!
LOL!!
Thanks for the bubble, LJWooly (bubble to you too)! Unfortunately, me being the worst enemy of *some* people from the other side, getting my 6th bubble back again will be tough...but then again that will help dampen against someone trying to pop my 5th bubble! ;-)
"you people who didn't get past cave level are stupid, the afterwards is fun action filled and tight"
I don't know why, but there is something wrong...and naughty about that sentence! ;-)
LOL!
Wood relayed it to me, though I missed the original Whoop posting! Nearly fell to the floor laughing after seeing that pic!
UPDATE
No, I MEANT when you first posted that laugh-out pic (Wood PSN e-mailed one to me after getting it from you, but I missed the FIRST time you posted that). You're doing a fine good job as you are right now!! And yes, very few objective 360 fans.
You guys are talking about Microsoft's "Three Red Lights" Christmas decoration, right? ;)
The comments above are proof that when 360 owners wait for their machines to come back from repairs, they loose their sanity in the process and become like mental asylum escapees. That is why GOOD people never let their friends and family members buy the 360 for the purpose of maintaining the well-being of society.
EDIT: With delusions that his 2-weeks old, refurbished 360 counts as his "first" 360, double-edge now seems to be approaching total brain meltdown. His...
Every time there is a HD-format article, MS fanboys (and HD-DVD supporters for that matter) are quick to point out that the Blu-ray movie disc sales cannot be attributed to the PS3 because the PS3 owners RARELY buy movies. Now every time an article like this pops up, they are also quick to point out that it's because the PS3 is a Blu-Ray player, and therefore, people use it only to watch movies. Seriously, you numb nuts need to make up your mind.
More news...
A supposed "descendant" of the original creator of the alphabet that we now use are suing every printed and/or electronic media for the illegal use and modification of the original alphabet without the consent of the creator's heirs. The "descendant" now demands that we should make a brand-new writing system from the ground up.
Microsoft pretty much has the monopoly on the PC industry,and it is now planning to overtake the video game industry. So, who's the 'evil empire' now?
And also, the last time I checked, the Gamecube, N64, and the original Xbox weren't wiped out by the previous Playstations...so where the f_ck did you get the idea that Sony *killed* those consoles as well?
Last but not the least, if you're freakin' going to sound intelligent, at least put some effing effort into ...
Hey, that rings well...
Planet Earth...BLU-ray!!
Get it??
