Games of today are now rivaling Hollywood in terms music score, sound effects, visual effects, and even storyline. Whereas during the hey days of 16-bit era back in the Nineties it only took like less than 15 people to create a game. As a Sony fan I would have to disagree with the article.
First, the title smacks "cult-like fanboyism" and starts blaming on the loyal PS3 owners. What does the author of the title expect from proud PS3 owners? Citizens of a violent Communist or Nazi regime where "problems" were easily blamed on other people?

No intended offense to Lara Croft fans, but for every brand-new Tomb Raider adventure (as evidenced by the numerous sequels) it just that something is going to be missing. There was a similar article a few days back on how the PC-to-PS3 modding will work. I may be mistaken and I forgot the exact information (to others out there NO FLAME TALK...and enjoy your respective consoles!!), but the modding tools that will come with the PC acts somewhat like a converter. Sorry to burst your happiness there, but, PS3 owners (including me) are also getting converted to enjoying FPS games since the release of R:FOM and COD4.
...this is probably the first news article in a while in which EVERYBODY (as of the typing of this post) agrees about one thing! Talk about irony here...the subject is about a war game and everbody, regardless of which console side, IS AT PEACE with each other!! :-)
