Good players tend to not always use the radar as the radar only keeps them distracted and therefore make them as easy kill. For example, if I'm faced with a really good opponent (the type that likes to pop "out of nowhere") I simply study their style and their movement. So regardless whehter they have the UAV jammer or not, I have no problems hunting them all.
So, UAV jammer is only effective if you're going against brand-new gamers.

Sure as hell is very effective in making you cuss at the top of your lungs because your otherwise perfect "kill streak" got ruined by a grenade from someone who just died, whether you killed them or by someone else.

Nope, we Sony fans have something similar to "achievements", and they're called PERSONAL STATS. If you have ever played Resistance those "achievements" are represented by military medals/decorations, which frankly, no one really cares except for the uber-geeky.
Then again, "achievements" can be considered a "cultural preference" of the 360 people and therefore can never be understood by the Sony people, much the same way the 360 people...
