Given that when I worked in a GAME store about 80% of our customers hadn't read the folded piece of paper pretending to be a manual; and subsequently did not know that you could upgrade your hard drive so wanted to trade-in to a bigger model (yes, we told them, but only if they weren't dicks); I would be surprised if the amount of people even aware that they could use Linux was 1%.
I have this game on my PC, it's not an Xbox 360 exclusive. My new pc is an i7 950, 8GB of Corsair RAM, and an soc 560 ti. The Witcher 2 is indeed a very good looking game, but no way will it look like it does now when it's on the 360. Strange thing is, that's not the biggest issue; the biggest issue is I genuinely thought it'd play well with a gamepad, and it just doesn't.
Still think that a Witcher game with a Return of the King style combat system would ...
that depends, if the game is modded and added to like the first then the average pc is where I'd go.
Shame it's not announced for PS3, lots of people should play this game. It's good for Xbox owners though, but personally I'm glad I got it on PC (and I usually hate PC gaming).
I must admit, coming in to the game I thought that a controller would be great, but I was very disappointed; and I hate Keyboard and mouse for gaming.
Right now I find that by editing an .ini file I can use the arrow keys to move, right shift to block and right control for signs; works very well for me as it allows me to attack in multiple directions smoothly.

Yeah, madeness. I have it on disc twice (wore out the first one with the laser, no actual scratches) on download, the vr missions disc, the twin snakes and then would get this.

I bought a Gamecube for that game... what a waste. Gameplay inferior to MGS2, cutscenes inferior to, well even a transcript of MGS1 on PS1 would be better.

As much as MGS1 was a defining moment in gaming for me, I have to say that Snake Eater is one of the finest games (if not the finest) ever made.

Whilst that can be seen as one viewpoint, how is it any better than the other?
I have played all of the MG games over a dozen times each, have killed bosses with everything from handguns to handkerchiefs and cartwheels. I have fired a bullet across a map, off a tree and through a soldiers head. My point is, I have spent hundreds of hours on these games, I still play them yearly at the very least and every moment spent has been one of joy.

In fairness AC1 was mildly entertaining if repetitive, but I quite enjoyed what they did with 2.
