MS actually has 9 studios dude, tho Rare, Lionhead and Turn 10 are the most dominate. Sony had 3 console generations and 2 successful consoles to acquire the studios they own and only a handful are successful studios. I think MS's plan is creating strong relationships with 3rd party studios and Sony's is buying their talent.

Wow kinect haters coming out in full swing.. I can't honestly see how someone passionate enough about gaming to regular this site can bash microsoft and kinect and not be glad of this supposed success it's having. Maybe it's because I don't have children and they enjoy bashing ms but blah, if you truly hate this, all the power to you I guess.

So technically Kinect has sold 10 million. Whether 10 million has been sold to the consumer is another story, but I'm pretty sure there are less than 2 million Kinects still sitting on store shelves worldwide.

I'd say Kinect has sold (to the consumer) about 8.4 million units.

I doubt it, firstly G0W3 (God of War fanboys pls go) is a TPS and CoD is a FPS and secondly CoD reaches a larger audience.

This is weird! Usually the PS3 version is brighter, looks like they didn't turn on the X360's expanded mode and super mario. It looks nothing like that on my TV. /s

According to IGN, yes the PS3 version of Crysis 2 is bad. Who can we blame? Crytek? PS3? X360?

After 4+ years there are still bad PS3 versions of multiplats. Some say the PS3 can easily excel above other console versions and often use FF13 as a multiplatform example, but completely forget that FF13 started it's life as a PS3 exclusive almost near completion before work started on other versions. People thought I was crazy for thinking that the PS3 version of Batman: AA received exclusive content because Rocksteady Studios were owned by Warner Bros which is owned by Time Warner which is a member of the Bluray Disc Association.

And guess who owns NetherRealm Studios? And lets not forget the PS3 version of Mortal Kombat is getting a special character....

Okay, if Crytek used every drop of the "consoles" power for Crysis 2 and the PS3 version is probably the worst version. Does this mean what I think it means??????

Why is this an issue all of sudden? The only developers that were forced to shut down due to poor sales in recent history were;

Free Racial (Haze)
Factor 5 (Lair)

Neither of these studios shut down due to piracy...
