Do you mean this:

"Unfortunately, 2ch recognised the man from a previous "this product is so amazing people are queuing all night for it" shill piece – that time the same man was interviewed for the Japanese release of the iPhone, obligingly saying "Well, it’s a worldwide thing isn’t it? You just have to ride the big wave!""

PS fans get paid a dollar whenever they promote GT5 on forums or comment sections. Many people refer to these [Wizziokid] people as "Shill(s)"

Definition of a "Shill":

-noun
"a person who publicizes or praises something or someone for reasons of self-interest, personal profit, or friendship or loyalty."

–verb (used with object)
"to advertise or promote (a product) as or in the manner of a huc...

True, but it would be fair to assume the results were from a poll for GFWL users. What with the email being sent by MS and the GFWM label being in the header, along with the email being sent to (You) a GFWL user.

But pay no attention to "ryuzu", if my trollish is correct, "ryuzu" roughly translates to "spinner of pro MS/360 news".

When a company/developer feels the need to reassure ONE fanbase that their version will be "Great", is a reason to worry. Like the saying goes "actions speak louder than words".

Not once have I read/heard a developer address "other" fanbase's in the same manner or as much as they do with the PS3. It's almost like their saying "We don't need to reassure the "other" fanbase(s) because we achieved everything we envisioned ...

This probably means the game will be released on the PS3 at a later date. Sony has a clause in their contract that requires multiplatform games that are released after other versions, receive either graphical improvements over other versions or exclusive content or both.

This is according to John Carmack of ID software:

"When reminiscing on Quake Wars' depressing development cycle and launch, Carmack notes that Sony demands that games coming out on t...

You of all people must find your own post ironic, think about it. What other product this gen was:

The most _________
Lacked _______
Missing features that were advertised at ______
Biggest games were ______ and released much later
Always quoted as having future ________
??????

If you fail to give Kinect at least a chance and you're into motion-gaming and previously preached all that jazz about "just wait until....

I find it weird that the game is only 7.4 GB on the PS3 and still has a mandatory install of 4.1 GB.

For this comparison AC: Brotherhood is pretty much the same as AC2 in the engine department with a few enhancements. This end quote pretty much sums it up:

"If friends lists are not an issue, the Xbox 360 version edges it with its more refined performance, but content completists may wish to opt for the PS3 version for the additional missions. It's a ...

Software cannot brick hardware, at least not by accident. This dudes fat PS3 was bound to fail at some point and just happened to fail while he was playing CoD: Black Ops.

If IGN gave GT5 a 7.5 I'm sure it would be justified. After all, reviews are just opinions and just like assholes, everyone has one.

If I had to choose between the opinion of IGN or you, no offence but with name like "HelghastDrake" I'd choose IGN.

No s*** Sherlock, let's see:

Exclusive to a Japanese console manufacturer [x]
Developed by a Japanese developer [x]
5-6m lead over the 360 in Japan [x]
Popular franchise [x]
MIA for like 5 years [x]
Previous games in the franchise selling 5-10m [x]

Why is there even a question mark at the end of this articles title?

on-topic:

Sure Sony would obviously be somewhat envious if Kinect proves to be a greater success than MOVE. What company wouldn't? More so for Sony because they have put out similar devices that (let's be honest) were not well received among gamers or developers.

At present though, what would Sony honestly be envious of in terms of Kinect? PS Move ha...

I'm sure that's a possible scenario but surely 360 fans would encourage and welcome more MS first party studios. It's not like the money spent would have gone into anything game related, well maybe timed DLC. So what would be the downside exactly?

MS have 10 studios, out those 10 only 2 have made games worth noting (Turn 10 and Lionhead) and none of them have even pushed the 360 visually.

Basically it would be fair to say that many of those disagr...

What are the current attach rates for all 3 consoles? I find it funny that you easily take Sony's quote at face value with no numbers being given at all (from the source posted).

"The firm claimed sales were "incredibly strong in October" with PS3 the "only platform t...

Heavy Rain was honestly a step backwards for Quantic Dream. The story was bad, the acting was bad, the gameplay was scarce and the amount of QTEs should have label Heavy Rain an interactive movie and not a videoGAME, similar to Dragon's Lair.

Quantic Dream partnering with Sony was the worst thing they could of done. Just imagine how Heavy Rain could have turned out if they had COMPLETE creative freedom without their sugar daddy cutting content and DLC for MOVE support and...

Killzone 3 removes the 'lag' but I will still keep my 'money'.

The weight in KZ2 (which feels more like lag in an online game) is what probably caused the 1.1 million people in Europe to cancel their pre-orders:

I think a comparison between Killzone and Halo is an insult to Halo. How can you compare a franchise that has virtually no fanbase, no longevity, no real hype, no identity and needed to re-invent it's self because the first game flopped. How can you compare that to a cult classic like Halo?

I mean seriously, it's like using Uwe Boll and Steven Spielberg in the same sentence.
