There is a toy fair this week where they are supposed to show off Halo 4 action figures. I doubt there will be any new enemies or vehicles, but we'll probably see the final Master Chief and warthog.
If the weekly updates are anything to go by, there may be some time before we see anything from the game.
343 keeps hinting at some details coming down the line, I think we'll finally see the game next month or March.
They've already stated several times that this is an Xbox 360 only game.
I think we'll see some details in Feb or March. The game comers out at the end of this year so hopefully we see some real good stuff.
I don't know why Gears isn't on the list, if that isn't one of the most influential games of this gen, I don't know what is.
I think they are addressing N4G and some of the fanboys who use it.
Yeah I agree, the recent books have been a great read and give an insight of what we can expect going forward.
Oh, I might have missed that part. I think he should have read them before writing the article, it may have given him a better understanding of what to expect in Halo 4.
I don't think the author read any of the recent books that were released. There are very interesting hints as to what we will see. If you read Glasslands you will know that the "Covenant" and Human war may not necessarily be over, even Frank O'Connor hints at that.
If you read Cryptum and Primordium, Halo 4 may be much more interesting than you may believe. After reading Primordium, my hype for Halo 4 just skyrocketed. The things you learn in the two forerunner book...
The HD videos are awesome to watch on the big screen. I no longer have to pull out my laptop if I want to show someone a funny video I saw.
Damn, the book isn't that bad. The first half is pretty slow, but it really picks up after that.
Fall of Reach and Ghosts of Onyx are great to start out with. If you are really into Halo, I recommend Cryptum and Primordium, they deal with the forerunners rather than Master Chief and the Spartans.
ODST? Are these guys for real, did they even play it? There were times in the game where I was blown away, majority of it being during the night time missions. Seeing the city on fire was amazing, sure the day time missions didn't look amazing but this game is far from being one of the worst looking games on the system.
More achievements are always good, but those re-upping ones are gonna be a pain.
I don't think he survived. They wouldn't go through all of that and somehow have him still come out alive. Besides, they said this is the last Gears game with this squad in it. Next Gears will have different people.
Can't wait to finally play this game.
Oh man, I can't wait to play this game. I think they should just get rid of armor abilities altogether, and just increase the running speed in multiplayer so there is no need for sprint. Armor lock is one of the worst things in Reach, they should aim for similarities with Halo 3 which had amazing multiplayer.
As for campaign, they should also follow Halo 3 rather than Reach. Halo 3 was much more epic and for some reason, I loved it so much more.
I'd rather they keep the campaign a little secretive more so than Halo 3's. I've been reading Cryptum, Glasslands and now Primordium, and if those are anything to go by, Halo 4 will be epic.
I wouldn't mind some info and videos on multiplayer and stuff.
My friend got me the game, and I wasn't expecting much. For me its more of a surprise in a great way, its just so over the top and fun.
I highly doubt Microsoft decided to "throw" Halo 4 onto the Xbox 360 just because they needed an announcement for E3. It's more than likely the install base of the system and the amount of sales they will be able to reach once the games releases.
