That would force people to buy the previous games, and knowing the users on this website, there would be an uproar because of that.
I doubt we'll be hearing about any new consoles anytime soon.
It may be a good move to get on the gamer's side but it would be a pretty horrible business decision. The reason why they have been so successful in terms of making profits in the gaming sector is due to XBL Gold, and like you said, I don't see them stopping.

Like I said, $60 is not a lot, and if you are so short on money then maybe gaming is not the right hobby for you.

After all these years, and people are still complaining? If you don't want to pay for it then don't. Why is it people have to criticize others for what they do with their money, I feel it is worth the price even though I never even pay the full $60 for the year. Even if it was a full $60 it isn't gonna put me out on the streets, people complain about money problems then go to Starbucks everyday willing to pay $5 everyday for a coffee SMH.
I want to read this, but I can't. Mass Effect 1 and 2 were some of my most favorite games ever, so this one will no doubt be another. I have the collector's edition preordered, just about a month left to wait.
Its not just about the features. It just makes sense to get the system that my friends have. I've had 360 since launch, but majority of my friends have it as well so I always have people to play with. On the other hand, my friends who play on ps3 rarely play, so what's the point.

Judging from the recent books and universe expansion, as well as Halo: Anniversary, I have faith in 343.
I doubt they will work towards any new IPs or exclusives from now on for the 360. They'll probably save all those resources and put it toward the new console.

I could see it from before as well, with Halo 4 releasing this year, why would they release another console at the same time? It has been confirmed several times that Halo 4 is a 360 title.

I think it was kinda obvious that it won't be released this year, especially since Halo 4 is coming out this year. They may reveal some information about it.......but not a full reveal. Next year will be the full reveal.....they may even wait until 2014 to release alongside Halo 5.
I think Rocksteady would make an awesome Spawn game, I wish it happens.
Bots for testing certainly seems possible, as for online multiplayer, I highly doubt it. It would be far too easy for human players to kill the bots, even if they were on legendary setting. There is no shortage of players online, so I don't see the point.
If however they had a separate mode where you can play against bots to practice for multiplayer, that may not be so bad.
