Did you try out the multiplayer? It rocks.
I'm playing through Lost Odyssey right now and I'm loving it, I don't usually play JRPGs but my friends encouraged me to do so.
They've said that the only reason that they allowed Kinect voice support for the game is because they didn't have to put much work into it. Kinect already recognizes voice, so Bioware really didn't have to program a lot compared to what they would have with normal mics. Kinect is designed to take voice commands, so I think it was just the ease of implementing it that drove Bioware to support it.
BTW if you have Kinect you should try out the demo using it it actua...
Did you try out the demo, multiplayer is surprisingly fun.
I tried out the demo using Kinect, and it works pretty well just like advertised. It is pretty useful in combat since you don't have to pause all the time to give commands.
I had my turtle beaches on full blast with the bass up too, this game has amazing sound and music. I have surround sound too, but the Turtle Beaches help to block out other sounds from family. I'm too busy playing Mass Effect to pay attention to anything else lol.
This guy just basically wrote out what he THINKS will happen in the third, and then compares it to the first two. Are you serious?
Great stuff, I don't see why they didn't put these behind the scenes video in the limited edition version. Still loving the game though.
The only reason they decided to add Kinect functionality was the ease of implementing it. They said since Kinect already understood voice commands it took a lot less work to pull it off than using mics.
I don't see how there is a lack of interest in Kinect considering the millions of units sold. I tried out the ME3 demo using Kinect and it worked really well, actually made the combat more fluid.
totally agree with you. I just wanted to stop and watch the reapers take everything down, it looked amazing. Kinect really worked well and actually made the combat more fluid rather than pausing every few seconds.
I tried the demo out using the Kinect, and it works just like in the video. Aside from a few hiccups it worked really well in combat, no more pausing every few seconds to command teammates to use powers.
Where do you get this idea of bribing?
Downloading now, I'll get some play time in before I go to class.
I don't usually play JRPGs, but my friends got me to play Lost Odyssey for the 360 and I'm loving it so far. I never thought I would enjoy this type of game, but I was proven wrong.
It looks pretty responsive, more useful for the actual combat than for opening doors though.
Yeah, I'll probably try it out but I doubt I'll be playing through the whole campaign while using Kinect. It is nice to see some support from some hardcore games though.
Halo 3's achievements were some of the best, especially the final one where you have to play 4 player co-op on legendary on the last level....epic moments.
It's not out yet, supposed to be out sometime this week. Only some people were able to watch it at an event.
Damn, the launch trailer for ME2 was one of the best trailer ever IMO, I wonder if this one will top it.
Yeah, those dream segments are really great. I never expected reading in a game to be so good.
