Preordered from A.co.uk @ 16 pound including shipping, the UK version will release on July 13th
Obviously you have no idea how business works.
Soory Perkel, he is right, you are wrong.
From a license standpoint there is no difference between a OEM version of Windows and a retail license. Both are paid with a SINGLE advance payment. The only difference is that the OEM versions don't come with the retail install disks and manuals, as the manufacturers handle the installing and provide a rescue disk that will restore the initial status when bought.
OEM versions have other "perks" for original equipme...
The HDMI sub 1.4 had only ONE set of audio conections. Therefor the AV receiver was able to send picture and sound TO the TV via HDMI, but could not receive TV audio via the cable. Typical problem: you want all audio via the AVR, TV speakers are disabled
HDMI1.3: not possible as the TV was plugged into an HDMI output for the PS3 and or DVD player signals.
HDMI1.4: possible as there is a dedicated audio backchannel that feeds teh TV sound into the AVR via HDMI.

The 1 billion for warranty money is a FACT though, published by big M himself. And whatever you do, the 1 billion compute to more than 6 million warranty cases for the RRoD. Unless people now believe MS likes to defraud their shareholders and stuffs money somewhere just because they like to, not cause they expect to need it.
PS: i am flame resistant anyways, so no worries i can take quite some heat ^_^ and i hardly ever whine about random disagrees.
huh, its dissap...
imho the best part is the audio back channel. Removes the need of the added audio cable from the TV to the AV Receiver.
I approved for the comic relief.
Ever more .... yeah, if 2% of the PS3 break, at 20 million sold, its only natural that some people will complain in the forum. The 98% of the userbase thats fine won't
For the book, if the PS3 was exceptionally well build and thereby better than the vast majority of ANY electronics, lets say at 1% failure rate compared to the industry average of 2%-5%, this would STILL mean 0.2 million broken systems. Sure, compared to 0 people that ...
please provide a source for the "design flaw" claim of yours, the MS design flaw has been reported and was the reason MS extended the warranty faced with the lawsuit
Your claim sounds fishy, cause the PS3 has an automated overheat protection that will shut off the system WAY before it gets to hot.
The first production yield of the xbox 360 was reported as "6 out of 10 would not meet the minimum QA at the end of the line and had to be reworked before s...
Beginners lesson in math:
1) 2% of 20 million is : 400000
2) 30% of 20 million is : about 6 million
is 400000 as bad as 6 million?
is 400000 ABOUT the same magnitude as 6 million?
for the book: for every broken PS3, each and every single one, there are 15 broken Xbox360. Unless the xbox360 has suddenly sold 300 million units it is not even on the same scale.
Want to know the difference between the one and the other?...
You need to start as a weird psycho sect. Then write some random prophecy and make a set of rules that guarantee yourself a top position by the will of ZONK. Then you need some tech mumbojumbo that triggers at random and tell people that each trigger is a sign of some bad energy polluting their body and that YOU, and YOU alone, can cure them.
Voila, welcome to your new church ...
2nd rate SciFi writer to be precise. But a successful business man, as he saw the one way to make money with his bad epics ... found a church, see the cash rolling in.
That was the main problem, the ips are known for mass editing articles to warp them to the view of the ... church
quote:"Scientology's shadily-named "Office of Special Affairs" has, according to one ex member of the church "organized massive efforts to remove Scientology-related materials and criticism from the web"
Fun fact: if you write something the CoS dislikes and you happened to use the church's symbol anywhere in the writ (the Christi...
How someone could get the idea that removing a $3 Wifi-chip from the PS3 would result in any substantial price reduction is beyond me. Though it shows that monopolistic marketing works. Tordavis must REALLY believe that a wifi adapter costs close to $100 when produced in large quantities. I am sure he will go on telling us that MS practically gives away the Wifi adapter for free, as it is soooooooo expensive to make. And conveniently ignores that usb wifi sticks are less than $10 AT RETAIL. A...
If there was a scientifically proof of a link between rape porn , and people becoming rapists ... then rape porn would be banned, it isn't, hence your point is the usual "FPS games make people into killers" blabber.
Rape porn does not make you a rapist, it is disgusting and utterly unerotic as far as i am concerned, but so is scat and all the other disturbing fetishes around. If you support banning of ANY kind of game with the reasoning "the game makes people into ...
Even if the Zune HD would double its marketshare, that would mean it would reach 8% of the music player market, compared to its 4% now, Even Sandisk with the Sansa line of players is bigger than that (11%), but sure, the then 8% marketshare will totally destroy Apples 70%+ marketshare.
Stop sniffing glue, it fogs your judgment.
The problem gets even worse when you realize that the Zune HD is a FLASHMEM based player, as stated by MS, is has no hdd to begin with.
Stop blabbering nonsense, it is a CLEAR photoshop work, one glimpse at the bad cutjob around the head confirms it. If it wasn't so darn BORING i would go and plaster an Obama pic in there just for the point.
Main announcement this year: Wii Music 2 (Wii motion+ and more balance board support, same game)
