erm .... Zombie News again ?
Why Wii? Lets push it further into absurdity, MGS5 is gonna be a Zune exclusive.
Nice look, but a real designer would have taken the SD requirement into his designs. Form follows function, rule one in design of USABLE stuff.
- does not fit on an SD screen
- load times for the trophys of all my friends would be horrid
This sits on the same level as these pointless Diablo3 screenshot filter nerds. Only touched up for the looks, never wasted a second thought that someone is actually gonna have to USE this.
As long as i keep getting the GOTY games, who cares?
Last time i checked that where no prices to win in this made up war, neither does it look like there will be any looser. Actually this gen seems to be full of winners. There is no Dreamcast scenario this time, neither a Gamecube one. All current gen consoles have decent sales and they don't even fight for the same interest groups for large parts.
If any court of justice accepts this insane suit the American court system has managed the crossover into the totally bizarre ..
Author is clueless. The next step Blizzard will take is put an NPC in front of the instances that simply GIVES you the desired loot to spare you the boring act of walking through the already completely challenge-less dungeon.
The whole concept of WOW is grinding for gear, as gear is everything in this game.
By making the process of getting gear píss poor easy they managed to take away 90% of the games playtime. The last addon was only good for 1 - 2 month, by th...
They still should sell those t-shirts... i would buy one
*groan*
5400rpm and 7200rpm 2.5" HDD drives are NOT old vs new, the two different speeds are based on the application you will use the hdds in. For the same reason you will find SEVERAL different speed 3.5" hdds. There is NO imagined "7200rpm is the new" standard present.
7200rpm drives are for high seekspeed/readspeed applications and will use MORE power and generate MORE heat than the 5400rpm drives that will use LESS power and generate LESS hea...
Sure there is a region lock mechanism inside the system *rolleyes* Sony stated that from the start. But Sony also said they will encourage Distributors NOT to lock the games. Most likely the license fees for region locked games is higher than for unlocked titles. But Sega seems to be hellbent on this old outdated crap regionlocking way ...
Additionally Sony said that the region locking functions can work independently of the BluRay Region coding.
Thats only for the ...
No, you are right. The Distributor CAN choose to region lock his game, though Sony said they will not lock their OWN titles. So far i don't know any Game that is locked. Bajonetta would be the first.
A crap gamecompany fighting a crap viral marketing page disguised as a blog with a libel case .. how utterly ironic.
Firmware versions are the same over all models, so the slim will come with 2.8
You seem to mix up something there,
A-ME-RI-CA had the slaves shipped in, AU-STA-LI-A had the criminals and scum shipped in. There is a difference ...
Thats only logical, as the 2 year warranty in the EU is to be provided by the STORE you bought the unit at, not the manufacturer.
What is YOUR problem pal, to "stupid" to visit Amazon.com for a second?
http://www.amazon.com/PlayS...
Hmm
Ain't you in the common market zone?
In that case simply order your unit from germany, i.e. amazon.de
Amazon will deduct the 19% vat (germany) and up the 25% (iirc) + shipping
All PAL systems are the same, so it matters not where you buy it :p
@fr0sty: come on, surely you don't want to suggest that DEVELOPERS make the expensive GlassMasters themself .. Naturally developers have a DISK version of the game and that one is stored, not the Glass master. So they will have a DIGITAL master around to make a new Glass Master if need be.
The DIGITAL master can be used to make the DL version of the game.
The writeup is actually a joke, really. They post random made up "reasons" and even try to dig themself...
@tda-danny: drop the "much" it makes NO difference at all, not a single tiny bit. For the same reason that it is completely redundant if you unpack a .zip file on your PC or your Laptop. The result is the same either way.
As the current models on sale do NOT have BC, how do you loose it with the slim? Maybe you are a bit confused there ...
It's better cause its using less power, and hence generating less heat, wich leads to a less noisy cooling (not that the noise was huge like some other systems anyways). And it comes with a bigger HDD compared to the 80GB model it replaces.

Don't expect much more from part 2, the reviews so far indicate the same problem as the first one, looks good, plays bad
