They are not required to honor a price that was put up in error, most likely due to a type drone making a mistake while adding several thousand prices and mixing up a line. They will honor all honest prices while the item was in your preorder list.
It clearly states that the 199 price is only valid if you trade in a xbox360 premium + 2 games or a wii + 2 games
Actually they did not quietly cancel them, they send an email clearly stating that there was an error in the price system, and that they will cancel the order. Sending an email with a reason aint quiet, quiet is removing the order from your account without telling you.
Was to be expected, as the same happened before with a price fckup.
And another problem is that most of the content that is handled by one US company in the US, has a different distributor in every european country. So rights had to be contracted with a load of distributors like ufa, constantine etc .. and every country here has its own rating board on top of all that.

No, actually it's up to the buyer to decide the worth of the merchandise, the seller can only tell you what he wants for it, but you decide if it's worth that much by buying it.

I think the very idea that console parts are priced in Yen at the gross market level is flawed. Mass produced computer parts are priced in USD. The Cell, BluRay pickups, even the base materials for the cases and all the transistors and resistors on the boards and the boards themselves are all priced in USD on the international market. Hence i think the USD 70% margin is more realistic than an arbitrary Yen comparison.
