as i said before, i agree with the AO rating, but i disagree with that banning business in UK and and some other CW countries. If you have a rating group then let it rate, and thats it, no additional banning cause once its rated AO its out of the hands of children unless you consider criminal salespersons the norm.

IT got an AO rating, yes sure, movies that show you a beheading of a female victim and then the f***ing of the bloody hole get an AO rating pronto. So if you cry abo...

they may be looked upon more by the rating groups, but imho any rating below AO would be crazy with a game like Manhunt2. I disagree with the banning business though, no rating group should have the power to ban anything, give it a 18+/AO rating and be done with it.

And why console manufacturers would disallow AO on their systems is beyond me. Whats the point of including Parental guidance stuff into the firmware if there is nothing available to be blocked by it ?

Imho the edited Title is the main problem with the newspost.
The original "Sony launches 80GB PS3 in Korea, no one cares" describes the source perfectly, as in "Sony launches 80GB PS3 in Korea, Gizmodo doesn't care" ;)

The edited title paints a completely different picture, and probably a false one.

Interesting side note: the source for the gizmodo article is a page that aimed the "no one cares" bit at the "grumbling of t...

there is no such thing as an unbiased web-poll

So far the market speaks louder than any polls, and right now its saying BluRay discs are selling better than HDDVD.

We will all be better informed after x-mass when the score is presented for this year.

i don't think i would want to buy an Asus Pee PC , woops a typo ...

additionally the article claims it would RUN Windows XP ... I'll presume it more likely will be able to CRAWL Windows XP

lol, its a patent filed 2001 ... and its looking like a phone from 2001 + some gameboy keys .. not like a wiimote

so the right name would be Wii-fake, not Wii-phone

lemme guess, a 3 digit number "lock" .. takes about 10 minutes to "hack" by simply testing all 999 settings

unlike WarioWares Crappy moves Forza and Guitar Hero are fun without looking utterly crappy (while being full price!)

So whats out for the wii ..

- Wii Sports ... mini sport games, comes free with the main thing,
- Wii Play ... mini games, crappy, comes with the controler (only reason to buy it ..)
- Rayman ... mini games, good collection, though infested with bugs and void online option
- Wario Wares SM , mini games .. crappy beyond imaginat...

actually both deliver the same result, picture wise. The only difference might be the lossless "true-HD" audio tracks that are on some of the BluRay releases, but as no affordable AV Receiver yet supports the format this is rather a mood point.

That more studios support BluRay is only a political decision by the studios, cause frankly NO ONE in the industry likes Toshiba and their DVD monopoly on current gen.

I decided based on the movies i wanted, and...

actually it shows how bad the 360 is doing in japan, that they have to run a commercial in the PS3 area to get anyone even GO into the MS area ... It's not working though.

the camera has just been announced for the EU market, and the camera was released in Japan before the GPS module, so it will still take some time for the GPS module to be on sale over here.

being able to patch something never justified a better rating. Following your logic EVERY game on earth should get a 10/10 rating because after all .. you might PATCH it to be good ...
The review reports the "worth" of the game in the state it was presented.
If a huge patch manages to make it a way better game sites would "re-review" it, happened before ...

If sites would crack down harder on unfinished game betacrap that is sold as finished pr...

though you are right considering other MMORPG you miss the mark considering WOW.
There is no way for farmers to monopolize rare items in wow, as specific spawn mobs only drop bop (bind on pickup) items that are absolutely worthless considered selling to players as you can't sell em to other players.

The only reason goldfarmers exist in wow is because Blizzard made the age old error of making ingame vendors selling certain skills or items that give you the edge over other...
