Some game developers have this stupid idea that the lead character always reflects the target audience .. (So, a game with a 9yo girl as lead is target to 9yo girls .. even if it has terror in it.) .. or it's ideal form.
No, most of us only want characters that suit the story .. @_@ .. pleasing on the eyes somehow.

The only reliable news that should be ALLOWED to post would be official reports from stores, microsoft himself or at least a half-reliable website citing a personal case .. (Like IGN/Kotaku etc about their test machines.)

His point is that the knowledge aquired on the Xbox1 wasn't going to help as much as it did from 1 to 2 .. so their knowledge on 360's hardware now due to Halo 3 is going to make the next game really shine.
In Graphic Technology, PGR3-4 are still way ahead of this or ANY game in the current next-gens (Yes, I did include Crysis and GT5.) .. but it's somewhat a mix-issue of art and technology .. the artist has to choose which technologies are going to be use instead of the programmer and many (if not most.) studios are having problems with this uncommon bridge in comunications.

Capcom hates sony enough to jump on the GameCube bandwagon exclusively .. cos of that, they where careful with RE5 .. but now they got "anyone" to jump ship in a way more safe way.

Japan is a public which works in many "little weird ways" .. example, they love to think they are "in the future" .. that is why they are obcessed by anything that feels new and "from the future" .. as the Wii.
It was obviously to work well, not just a gimmick ..

Oh, forgot to say, the story is being writen by Lorenzo Carcaterra (Sleepers 1995) .. it's going to be very "new-york street" styled.
This game is being produced by a new team (at EDEN, same of Test Drive Unlimited ..which is quite a great game.) and it's VERY technologicaly intensive ..
That is prolly why they are having trouble with PS3.. since they developed their own technologies they have to re-build them to work on PS3 (instead of just porting the code to a "working" engine in both platforms.) ..
