agreed they are doing an excellent job with this, and the fact is the gfx are getting a upgrade but they are doing their business with the fact it is an online persistent world where you race against people not dumbass AI constantly. In a open area where you make the courses and choose the races, then you chill with buddies, and explore the world.
The game is a massively open game environment where you cruise around with other people online and race (instanced races to stop sploting with car club memebrs) and you can chat and talk and chill while driving around. 1000 miles of road mapped of hawaii. Tons of cars.

Schafer is a god, Full Throttle is one of the great games of all time. As is Grim Fandango. I haven't played Psyconauts but i might because it has generated mad amounts of accolades.
PS Naming your kid geometry wars is dumb even though it is one of the best and most infuriating games released in recent times. ANd not inferiating because of anything other than you know you should do better but that game kicks so much ass.

Agreed... Demo was alot of fun and cant wait to play the full version.
Still going strong and the biggest surprise with it persistence of players still playing this great and very very deep game. I wish i still had time to play this one as much as it disserves.
I doubt that a remake of FF 7 will make that much of a splash as to be a 360 killer, sure it will be good to see it with new graphics and they can fix a few small things but essentually it would be like playing a game a second time.
Hopefully it is a little deeper an MMO that WOrld Of warcraft was, not that it was horrible. But it was surely watered down compaired to other games on the market. I can't argue since it seems like 1/3 the people in the world play WOW so they struck a magic balance for all sorts of players to play and be involved.
strongly agree I will never fault Sony for the PS3 if it does dive. They do seem like they are packing everything new and the kitchen sink into it and maybe in all of that they will lose the vision it is about games... PS is about Gran Turismo, MGS, Final Fantasy, etc. etc. they saw that it worked for the DVD Player last time and BC was great too even though after the first year i never played an old game other than GT2 and FFVII, FFVIII.
