great post slugg I agree before they explore miniturization they better put something out that people can play so they have something to shrink. Once again SOny will backstep their way out of it... They aint going down in size anytime soon till they can get enough PS3s out there to fill storeshelves and at 6 million PS3s made by next E3 they aint going to be there.

I think it has been stated many timews the HDDVD will not be for games. It will be a addon if people with a 360 want to play HDDVDS. They aren't forcing us gamers to go out and buy movies. But if we want to play HD movies... there it is... once again... YOU FREAKING IDIOT!!!

Dunno why Mother 0 is on here I got gfor my NES emmulator and you can download it all over the place. It is a fun game. ALot like the one that eventually came out on the SNES (EarthBound)

I think hardware is secondary to them anyways they always design their hardware around what they want to do to differentiate themselves from the more mainstream hardcore and midhardcore gaming demographic Sony and MS are battling over. Nintendo want to remain cuddly and cute and for the family.

It makes no sense really APple has shunned gaming and gamers and game makers have always viewed them as a productivity machine not for gaming. Oddly Bungie was one of the few that actually made DECENT games for anything Apple put out but they are with Microsoft now.
What the hell does Sega have to do with any of this? Anyone dumb enough to compare Microsoft to Sega needs to have their IP banned immediately. The xbox is a freaking writeoff to what Microsoft makes and is worth. They aren't writing big billion dollar checks to make a 7 SPE cluster that only performs 25% better than a triple core IBM CPU they had laying around already almost toattally developed and ready to go. MS actually thought about BUYING Nintendo outright during the planning for Xbox360. But they decided not to do it because even though they would get a huge boost in Japan they felt it wouldn't be worth the money.
I wish they would port over EVE Online to the 360. that game owns anything this game will do online. And i think they could have a nice boost in players if it goes to 360. Just my EVE Online love coming out though.

I think Darwinia was a game developed using the Half Life 2 engine for the PC and it was hmm a little unusual to say the least but they need some of the wierd stuff like that rolling blob game for the PS... I love HATAMAKUKARI or whatever it is called.
