Why? SJWs aren't the ones who freaked out about TLOU2.
Visually it is very detailed but the art direction is a bit bland and the gameplay definitely isn't my cup of tea. I'm not generally a big fan of Crystal Dynamics, tbh. I haven't liked any of the dialogue in cutscenes or in-game.
/s TLOU2 and Death Stranding were better than Days Gone.
There's nothing wrong with Neil talking about a game that he directed which just came out after he invested half a decade of his life into it. Cop on, Foxtrot. You guys really are desperate to pin TLOU2 as a Last Jedi but as far as video-games go, it has far more in common with MGS2, right down to the structure of the game and the disparity between the critics response and some users with almost identical critiques. 2152d ago 15 agree11 disagreeView comment

Well, you've replied to me. By your logic, everything I said in my comment was true because you responded. That's just .... stupid.
I asked you if there was actually anything that you disagreed with in the article and you couldn't come up with anything. That's a sign that you might need to reflect on your beliefs a bit. People probably get annoyed with you because your comments barely make any sense.
"media so out of touch, media bad, media bad!!!"
Is there anything in the article that you actually disagree with? You might do well to actually read it instead of just reading the headline and leaving a generic comment.
Are you okay, morganfell?
The PS5 costs $450 to manufacture. It's not going to be $600. Realistically, Sony will probably sell the standard PS5 for $450-$500 and the digital edition for $400-$450.
It actually does make sense if you think about. We're bewildered by this because we're coming from the perspective of a core gamer. The PS4 and XB1 are almost 7 years old and yet millions of people are still buying them. If you buy a new console, GTA is a huge brand and it's one of the first games that most people end up picking up. It's likely as simple as that, along with strong interest in GTA Online.
The moderators have once again taken down a positive opinion piece about TLOU2 while permitting neutral and negative opinion pieces.

TheQuartering and his followers definitely lean right but they don't necessarily represent what most conservatives gamers think about the game. They are reactionaries so their response has been ... a bit over the top to say the least.
To be fair, the backlash is definitely from a portion of the right, even if they don't represent all conservatives or anything close to that. Channels like TheQuartering are right-wing, not left-wing.
Some of these are also on Xbox now.
Same. If these are just the physical sales and the game is outselling the boxed sales of Animal Crossing by 40% in the UK, then with digital it's probably going to end up outselling GOW and Spider-man. Ironically, the controversy surrounding the game probably increased the sales. 🤦 What a fail for the reactionaries.
If these guys had the same infrastructure and following a decade ago, they would have freaked out at the Bioshock games for being too political. They have terrible taste and don't understand that AAA games will become much blander if they get their way.
The first Bioshock is an elaborate critique of "Objectivism", Ayn Rand's political philosophy (a famous conservative) along with her book, Atlus Shrugged. Andrew Ryan = Ayn Rand. I'd imagine that wouldn...
Sure, but MGS2 did the exact same thing. Critics were enamoured with the game and didn't spoil the bait and switch. Fans were pissed off about playing as Raiden (feminine and unsure of himself compared to Snake) for most of the game but now praise it as a masterpiece that was ahead of its time.
Don't give TheQuarterPounder any ideas.
Reactionaries: "Get woke, go broke!!! Nobody wants this gay shit."
TLOU2: Breaks sales records
They're using their own fake reviews as proof that they're right and that everyone agrees with them, droning out the people who've actually played the game and refusing to let them have their say. Ultimately, they're just lying to themselves but it's disgusting behaviour.
Metacritic should only allow you to post a user review once it's verified that you own the game in question. Otherwise, user reviews will continue to be a joke.
