Meanwhile, Sony and the PS4 are the current "industry leaders". They also know how to craft games without the things you mentioned and have been VERY successful at it. They just happen to rule an area Nintendo is lacking in, as well. But that's what makes them both so valuable, regardless of who does what better than the other.
There's a 3rd company that's lacking in many areas, but I won't go into that one.
Or who you're talking to. He wouldn't have a clue if he was born wearing one.
OT: I'd say the Pro AND X do that. Neither feels like a total 4K machine and that's fine. Neither of them are. They're just capable of it and, in some cases, do an exceptional job.
He's getting disagrees, because nothing suggests the Switch will sell more than the PS4 in 2018. Especially not in EU (something needed if one is to outsell Sony for the year). So his hypothesis sounds more like a dream than anything else.
Sounds like you're in a serious state of denial.
Halo 5 did NOT sell 15m. Just stop.
Um, Uncharted 4 is just underneath 10 million (and still very much selling), the highest selling PlayStation exclusive (GT3) is higher than any Halo game, and Halo, itself, isn't hitting anywhere near numbers those numbers anymore.
So I don't get what you mean.
No, PS4 is still the fastest selling. witch is just behind it.
I see it! :P
Well, that's for obvious reasons. I mean, these sorts of responses are never accompanied by a realistic rebuttal. Why WOULDN'T this year's line-up keep momentum high?
Of course.
Can always tell when the holidays are over. Broke people look for any and every way to make money. :P
Just spit my drink out! Too freakin' funny! :D
@andibandit: As usual, you, too, should be ignored.
You forgot the /s
OT: That 5.9m, by itself, is just a little over 2 million less than the Xbox One sold for the whole year (which is approximately 8m)! Put that in perspective folks!
Not that we should take your words with any real seriousness, as you often don't have a clue, but this just solidifies that fact. "Filled with VR titles", when there were a mere 2 dedicated VR titles out of 13 exclusives mentioned. I'd do the math for you, so you could understand the very small percentage that is, but what's the use? You are as annoying as it gets!
OT: While I don't expect The Last Of Us Part II this year, Detroit, God of War, and ...
I see it too. You're not making a point.
Yeah, which continue to be major success stories critically and commercially.
Sony owns the Trademark (a type of Intellectual Property right) to Death Stranding.
Very few properties does Sony publish without trademarking (what people do in the industry when they secure rights to a property - something that is mis-perceived by many in the gaming community). Heavy Rain is the most recent example. They own the publishing rights, but did not trademark the property. Those rights remain Quantic's.
Same here!
No way should this go unreported. Totally unnecessary post.
