We're FAR from the human eye being unable to distinguish one generation's graphics from another. Very far. Graphics haven't gotten anywhere near the ceiling yet (just a look at any modern pre-rendered cutscene or trailer is enough proof of that). Graphics DO matter. However, so does having a robust system with its own exclusives. Nintendo and Sony prove both of those things to be true.
Having the most powerful machine, on the other hand, matters MUCH less.
An exclusive Ridge Racer would be huge? Hardly. And that comes from a massive Ridge Racer fan. It's no longer the powerhouse franchise it was in the 90s.
Last I checked, PC and PS4 are also tagged at the top. If you're really excited for the game, stop worrying about others around you. Anyone planning to buy the game (and has a machine that will play it) has every right to post here as you do.
Both previous Metro games did. A HUGE chunk of their fanbase is on the platform, so expect day-and-date.

The Pro was ahead for the month of January. It's generally a very good indicator of who will sell the most for the month...
Just because you didn't agree with it doesn't make it garbage. And the X outsold the Pro during the holidays, but remained behind it for all of January and is still behind it now on Amazon.
The bottom line is Microsoft has major blunders to fix. Doesn't matter how you feel about Sony. They're not in the same boat.

OT: For me, it's not about "forgiving", rather, buying who I feel takes care of my needs. Nintendo and Sony (in the console space) do that. What Microsoft must do to keep me interested in Xbox? Release more exclsuive content for it. To the point - games. Otherwise, their mistakes are their mistakes. Humans being humans and I'm not going to behave as if I'm a Saint.
