"Sony can't take risks" - All credibility lost right there.
OT: I don't know. I haven't played it yet. I'll say that it's God of War. No matter what they do, I'm in! Series has yet to let me down!
They've actually done plenty of Limited Edition consoles this gen. More than anyone else.
The Wii U’s life was sad, in general. No amount of attacking the PS4 (you know, one of the most successful consoles ever) will change that.
Second Son reviewed well and sold well. As for the Remaster of The Last of Us, there wasn’t anything ‘slight’ about.
Seems like you’re just posting without a clue of what you’re talking about.
Although badz was a little harsh, his sentiments are spot on. Your analogy doesn’t work because The Last Guardian launched years into the PS4’s life (and the other games were only ever shown on PS4). I get what you were trying to say, but that comparison is flawed.
I was cordial initially, but you ignored all reason and continued to show me how that there isn't any understanding of what Microsoft lacks on your part. Asking about PS4 exclusives, when you haven't even begun to name the 20 exclusives you said Xbox had, is telling. "Scared", you say? Nah, just aware of the type of game you're playing. It's not about what exclusives 'matter'—the totality of a library is what people look at and where Microsoft is sorely lacki...
It's fine if you continue to live in LaLa Land. I won't hold it against you. :)
Avoid the question? I asked you to name 20 exclusives on Xbox. You couldn't. In fact, you haven't had any solid argument at all. You've blown a lot of hot air and championed Microsoft while putting Nintendo and Sony down—companies that obviously have better game plans.
So there's nothing left to discuss with you.
Uh, you named a few exclusives of Sony's that weren't the best (yes few) and conveniently skipped MANY more. What about Horizon? Until Dawn? Uncharted 4? Uncharted Lost Legacy? Shadow of the Colossus? inFAMOUS Second Son? First Light? Yeah, the agenda is obvious.
Stick by your Xbox.
Microsoft has 20 exclusives that matter? Games ONLY ON XBOX? No, they don't. Regarding Sony, it's clear that you haven't a clue. Quality gone down? Okay buddy. If you say so. And your comment on Nintendo—Lord have mercy....
There's only one company who's properties have been largely irrelevant this gen and it certainly doesn't include Nintendo nor Sony.
That's true, but you quoted where they said what Naughty Dog IS, not was. So in that regard, it's totally understandable why you received the critique that you did. The whole quote is critical:
"From one perspective, Rare could have been the crown jewel of Microsoft's exclusive studios, not unlike Naughty Dog is for Sony. It was one of the most beloved developers of the N64 generation, responsible for classics from Goldeneye and Perfect Dark to Banjo Kazooi...
Xbox One snappy UI? Compared with PS4, it’s a good deal slower.
As for the rest of that, it is completely irrelevant to the point. Feature sets are great, but for a console, games matter most. Like I said, Nintendo and Sony know that, which is why they are the only two companies to have ever lead this industry.
Unparalleled network service? Hardly.
And they need to focus on strengthening their 1st Party Studios they already have before we start talking about what major 3rd Party Dev they could buy (which won't happen, anyway). Nothing interesting about their current situation. It needs fixing.
Nintendo and Sony have the right idea—build a solid base with your own studios, while also grabbing a piece of the pie elsewhere.
Leave it to neo for a continued display of hypocrisy.
Anyway, the PS4 continues to trek along! I expect it to eclipse the PS3 when all is said and done!
Nah, Killzone doesn't need to be open world. Just make it solid, like Killzone 2, strengthen the online infrastructure, and it should do well.
Horizon has sold more than any Gears of War game to date, and when all is said and done, may be behind Halo 3's number only (it's capped around 12m - Horizon should settle around 10).
That is nothing short of amazing, especially for the first title in a series!
Exactly.
Very little changed. They’re just bringing out more new IPs, which is one of the reasons why they do so well in the first place.
Of course it doesn't.
Amazing that you got so many disagrees for stating a fact.
