Only since November. I'm pretty sure that Kinect buyers are not the same demographic that was buying the 360 for 5 years before Kinect.

No records were being broken until the new slim model and Kinect were available.
Oh yeah, and the slim did not get a price drop.
@jwk and @showtime......Yes this hard drive can be used in the new slim, however you have to take the casing apart to access the actual HDD inside.
I did this with an old 20gig I had laying around and used it in my son's new 4gig Xbox slim model.
The HDD inside just unplugs from the old case and the pins line up inside the new slim's hard drive slot.

Stop with the "it does the same thing" comments.
Move does MUCH more than Wii, and Kinect does MUCH more than Eyetoy. It just comes down to which device has the most bang for the future buck potential (since both control systems are just starting their lifecycles).

I think MS will enable the usage of this chip in later updates as time goes on( just like the HANA video upscaler chip that was always in the 360 from the begining.)

Braane, I know that this info is from the "dreaded" VGchartz, but just last week in America, the 360 sold 600,000 units.

Looks like these guys spent $300 on two Kinect sensors and probably a case of Redbull and a few late nights hacking them to make this work.
