So a game(LBP) that has only sold 3.6 million to date, will have more people playing it than Reach (which will more than likely sell 3.6 million within 2-3 days)?

How many will be playing Reach when it is released?
Odds are Reach will have more people using the Forge feature than LBP.
Does that mean that 2.4 million people created those levels? Not likely. My point is that with the amount of copies of Reach that will probably be sold, more people will be using, playing, tinkering(whatever term you wish to use) Forge 2.0 than LBP. Just my opinion.
