It's a weird aspect of all of the From Software titles, they have really high completion rates compared to most other genres of games.
If you look at the trophy stats, most of the platinum trophies for these games are very popular and, from memory, aren't even ranked as rare trophies.
As tough as Bloodborne might be, for example, over 21 percent of players have the platinum trophy. Over 26 percent of people who played Demons Souls have the platin...
Absolutely loved Fallen Order, I am intending to replay it to earn the platinum trophy ahead of the sequel's release. Guess I can just download it rather than chucking the disk in at least.
Gee whizz Orchard, don't you ever get tired of cheerleading for Xbox, it's Christmas, take a couple of days off.
I absolutely loved this game on my C64 and can remember being a little disappointed when I eventually got an Amiga and tried the game there, it just wasn't as good as that C64 version in my opinion.
I think Microprose are up there as one of my fave publishers of the era, Knights of the Sky and Gunship 2000 on Amiga were utterly amazing for the period.
I would be interested to see how many folks are actually playing it to completion before I commented on how well received the game is. It's easy to imagine lots of people downloading it to try it, I don't think that necessarily demonstrates a disconnect between consumers and reviewers. This score does seem very harsh though.
I am looking forward to trying it as I do really like Rick and Morty, just need to finish up a couple of games I have on the go before starti...
I can't help but wonder if this is a precursor to a price hike for GP. Jack up the price a good chunk and try and mitigate the negative reception by offering a cheaper ad dependent tier.
Best kit in international football in my view. Also, given that my own national team were so poor (Wales) I really was rooting for Croatia to win, they were great in this tournament.
I would go further and suggest that 'giving' games away on GP actually generates a negative perception for gamers on other platforms, and this perception of devaluing your games by giving them away is something serious devs don't want to do.
Personally, when I see a 3rd party game tagged as being day one on GP I almost always assume it will be a fairly average game.
The irony of Americans commenting on racism and corruption in other nations is just mind blowing to me
If its a free to play game, I can kinda overlook this kind of thing, perhaps where a publisher is trying to monetise their product.
The thing I hate with MS is that they have duped their fans into giving them a pass on how MS exploit the consumer, in my opinion at least. They have successfully managed to get gamers to perceive games as 'free' on Gamepass despite the gamer paying a subscription. MS have done this so successfully that their customers allow MS to cha...
I am ignoring all the noise on N4G, too many Xbox fans and plonkers throwing the word 'woke' around to take the comments seriously. I'll do what I always do, decide if I am interested based on a bit of gameplay on YouTube.
Personally, I thought the demo was pretty good insofar as I could get a feel for the combat which I felt could be quite interesting, it certainly looked and felt cool. For me, from what I have seen so far, overall it looks solid enough.
This type of nonsense article as well as critical commentary reminds me a great deal of when everyone was bashing Days Gone ahead of its release, and that game turned out to be pretty great. I'd ignore bollocks articles for such poor websites personally.
So explain to me how a developer is supposed to create a main protagonist who has any ethnicity other than white, without accusations of being "woke" (whatever the fuck that means). Why is it so difficult to believe that the director of a game simply decided that of the various character designs that would have been proposed, this was the one they liked most?
I can guarantee one thing about colour that would change your opinion Madlad, if the game was coming out ...
Utter bollocks, nothing Sony have done would necessitate MS needing to up their prices. This is purely a business decision taken by MS. If you want to accuse Sony of being anti consumer then you now need to level the same criticism at MS.
Oh come off it Orchard, you can't have your cake and eat it. All you Xbox guys were banging on about MS being pro consumer, now that they are raising prices you make excuses.....nonsense!
MS need to quit Halo and move on, they have stagnated for the last 13 years or so. Make some new damn games!!!
The fact is, Nintendo and Series S were the only consoles with any kind of discount, there were no savings to be had on the premium consoles.
I am sure that if you compared Series X against PS5 the numbers would be quite different. The Series S was almost being given away, I think I saw it for around £180 which will inevitably tempt folks on a budget.
As others have expressed, I don't have a problem with content releasing months down the line but it seems really unacceptable when a game launches and there is already content available to purchase. Its really unlikely that this content was made via a completely separate worksteam from the outset. It is clearly content that was simply held back from releasing with the main game.
Greasy as fuck in my opinion.
I wasn't really disagreeing with you mate, just giving my own perspective. I would probably say that their biker identity did feed into why I had preconceptions about the characters ahead of release, its just that I felt the characters didn't seem particularly likeable in the trailers and pre release gameplay etc. which also coloured my perspective to some degree.
Anyway, as I said, I think the game was criminally underrated. For what ever reason, the media were a...
Revisionist history at its finest. Bethesda were on a downward trend even before MS came along. They peaked with Skyrim and then completely took their foot of the gas.
The game design and especially the writing noticeably dropped with Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 and let's not kid ourselves, rpg's have moved on since Skyrim, yet Bethesda still insist on sticking with that game design philosophy and creaking, chappy engine.
I reckon the game will be...
