This will be interesting if the Last of Us multi-player game enjoys a live service component. Could we see a TLoU title launch on PC at the same time as PS5?
Personally, i think the only folks who really care will be the extremists on both sides of the console divide who want to weaponise and news they can.
The average gamer won't really care, Sony are still pumping out quality single player games and adding to these experiences with live service stu...
Definitely seeing more opportunities to pick up a PS5 here in the UK quite regularly. While they aren't on store shelves I see them available on retailers websites quite often, you have to figure that now supply constraints are easing, PlayStation sales will continue to increase.
Agreed Madlad, Sable is a fabulous game.
Quite how anyone can disagree with your comment is beyond me.
More unsubstantiated drivel Madlad, Phil has been making noise about courting the Japanese market forever, so you don't get to say that MS isn't even trying to get a foothold.
The reality is, Japanese consumers don't like Xbox, never have. Xbox are 4 generations in and still can't gain any traction and saying they have sold more than they did last gen is so desperate its laughable, when you consider how dismal last gen was for xbox in Japan.
The big question is, can the game achieve any where near the same level of quality and polish of GoW. I am currently replaying it and going for another platinum on my second account and I had almost forgotten just how stellar the game is, it really is incredible!!
I often get the urge to reinstall MGS5 and do another playthrough, I absolutely loved that game. I would jump at it if a PS5 patch or even a remaster were to be announced.
Whet ever chief, just pointing out that suggesting Sony are deliberately kneecapping their games is the stuff of fantasy.
@Speak
Hope you feel better now you have managed to get a jab at Sony under your belt, honestly.
There are two scenarios; first, the remaster of Spiderman was already pushing boundaries and looked incredible, meaning that no matter how good the PC version looked, it was never going to be head and shoulders above the PS5 version in respect of graphical fidelity. The second option, Sony mandated that the devs deliberately hamstring the PC version in order to spare t...
Even if this video doesn't clearly show any improvement, I think most rational people would accept that PC will edge out consoles if the PC is powerful enough.
The way I think about this though, is that it is super impressive just how much bang for your buck we are getting with the PS5 and Series X, they are great pieces of kit for the money!
Never suggested that personal preferences aren't valid. Supose I was just pointing out that making negative comments without supporting them seems a bit pointless.
Dunno if you have looked back over your comments and reflected on your contributions dude, but you seem super negative.
Sounds like you may as well go all in to be honest, you know you want too!😄
Yup, same here. I reckon this will fly off the shelves and I didn't want to miss out.
Just snagged my preorder, it's listed on the game website here in the UK if anyone is interested.
Actually Darth, Everwild illustrates my concerns quite well. The game was announced years ago and is rumoured to be in development hell with talk of the game being completely rebooted. I cannot help but think that it seems the studio is unable to fully commit all of its resources to Everwild because it has to continue to focus on Sea of Thieves.
Problem is, now that they have turned Sea of Thieves around, Rare will be locked into monetising that for the foreseeable future, I'd be surprised if Rare release anything new anytime soon.
Glad you enjoyed it squire, as I said, I didn't hate it, it's just that I personally thought it was really average in some aspects.
I will say, I agree that the setting really was interesting. I am hopeful that the sequel improves the gameplay but from what I have seen of the voice acting, I feel it hasn't really been improved upon
I still remain lukewarm on this game. I did finish the first game but I had to kinda force my way through it.
I thought the voice acting was a bit ropey and the gameplay got quite repetitive so overall I felt the game was pretty average. I haven't seen much from this sequel that suggests much of an improvement in these areas in my opinion.
Looks super promising, let's hope it delivers. If it does well, perhaps EA will consider revisiting some of their other classic games.
I always thought Dante's Inferno was super underrated personally and would love a remake of the Bad Company games too.
