The title of the article is "Can Drake Save Next Gen?"
I think this article needs to cool off a little longer.
Just wait for E3...
They're not suing Apple, they're trying to find out who is responsible for the unauthorized "sequel" on the app store that uses their IP. The subpoena is just to compel Apple to provide that information.
Elite Dangerous *is* coming to the PS4. It is just a timed exclusive for the Xbox One.

I'm really surprised that they didn't at least do a co-op mode, but I'm just psyched to have another sandbox to play in. Just Cause 2 was so much fun, to this day I can't pass a radio antenna without mentally labelling it as "worth 5%".
Just hope they fixed the rudders on the planes.
If you think the outrage was strong in Metal Gear Solid 2 when you swapped to Raiden for the last 80% of the game, can you imagine the unrelenting fury that would spew forth from the internet if this were the case?
I really doubt this theory is correct.
Really. I don't know how this is a smart decision on Konami's part. Considering all the positive reactions and widespread coverage P.T. got, it was sure to generate huge sales.
I don't understand how cancelling the game entirely is a better choice than just removing Kojima from the project and proceeding without him, unless for some reason there was a contractual agreement that prevented Konami from making Silent Hills without Kojima. Some kind of licensing issue...
@MysticStrummer: I don't want to take the chance, just in case the original source files are removed from PSN entirely. I recall that happened once with another game, but I can't recall what it was. Marvel vs Capcom maybe?
Anyhow, no point risking it just in case. :)
When I heard the news about P.T. coming down off of PSN, I went back and made sure that I hadn't deleted it yet so I could save it for posterity.
Amazing until I void my bladder the first time Lisa eats my face.
Just to get out in front of this, there's now been an official statement made by Konami about the status of Silent Hills, not just a rumor.
I for one am very disappointed. P.T. was incredibly atmospheric, something Silent Hill hadn't been in a while, and I was quite excited to see what a full game would be like.
Comparatively the 360 was easier to program for than the PS3. You didn't see them "max out" too soon, did you? There was still a consistent improvement in games for the system throughout its lifespan.
What are you talking about? Sony has a ton of exclusives in 2015.
@Genuine-User: How is Sony responsible for CD Projekt Red's trailer?
Edit: Never mind, I didn't see your later post when I wrote that. Carry on.
@Genuine-User:
How did Sony get dragged into this?
@uptownsoul: Maybe you didn't notice that the article Kayant references was written *by* Brad Wardell. So that is a direct quote as well.
Rather than an article about the rumored lawsuit, this article is discussing the possibility that the entire thing is a publicity stunt. There are several interesting (if slightly reaching) points raised that call the whole situation into doubt.
All I know is that Kojima has some weird ideas about promotion, so I can't be sure one way or another what to make of this situation. With the whole Joakim Mogren debacle way back during the Phantom Pain reveal, I'd say that very little is too outlandish to consider.
Too bad at the end of the day it's a Codemasters game.
The full quote:
"I have difficulty fathoming that we’ll have that kind of graphical leap in the next several years. The reality is, we probably will as we learn the systems better, so it’s all up from here, and that’s exciting."
So there according to Cambier there probably *will* be a leap in the graphics, its just hard to wrap your brain around considering how good Uncharted 4 looks now. :)
