Did many read the article, going by the comments not many.
Will be interesting to see how both next gen consoles fare heat wise in reviews.
Indeed they could of done more with it, even taken "inspiration" from the unofficial emu's out there to improve things.
Appears so.
"Including the original, glitch-filled Super Mario 64 is how Nintendo can actively preserve the game's legacy. Each release that passes means that slowly but surely the copies of Super Mario 64 that can be speedrun are deteriorating. This is particularly important as many speedrunners continue to show a preference for using a physical Nintendo 64, rather than emulating the same game."
Sorry but this is not an issue for the majority that wanted this collection,...
Only just over £6 on Steam at the moment and is getting a lot of positive reviews but a lot state like this review says, it needs a lot of work. Will keep on my radar though, hadn't heard of it before.
Getting it on PC only 50, next gen tax.....
Can't wait to see what gets achieved on it further down the line.
Interesting insight to the devs thoughts on cloud gaming:
What's your take on the rise of cloud gaming platforms like Google Stadia, Microsoft's xCloud, and Amazon Luna? Do you plan to support some of those as well with The Invincible?
Marek: I always loved the concept of being able to play without bothering with hardware upgrades, downloading, and installation or patches. If this is finally put in motion on a mass scale, for studios and publisher...
Can't wait to see a nude X-Wing........
It appears EA stitched up Epic store by doing a bad packaging job on the game for other stores, it asks for an Origin key for the game lol. Good old EA.
That was obviously a humorous post.
I'll repeat my comments from before on this:
No denying Playstation opened up gaming to a lot more people (that might not of been interested before). I still remember seeing Wipeout being demoed in a local shop and being blown away by it, and I had been gaming since late 70's early 80's
I would of said Sony managed to hit the right generation at the right time and with the right attitude/marketing, putting Playstation booths in dance clubs for...
Indeed it was most probably up to Nintendo's usual standards of these things lol. But the game was always a requirement, still where I live we didn't even get this offer/chance, we got crap all as a pre-order bonus (ordered from the Ninty store).
It was meant to be a pre-order bonus with a bit of fun added, not for everyone to get a free pin set without the game, it was always clear you needed the game.
It's £50 on PC though.
PC and Switch for me, no Sony only exclusives announced so far that warrant the console yet (I hope that changes as Sony's first party output is second to none at the moment).
Never bought into the EA myself either, I am interested in Squadron 42 though and hope it's worth the wait whenever it should actually get released.
God knows why they partnered with Klarna (the article misses the fact that MSoft also uses them for this), hard credit checks, setting up a direct debit, sometimes proof of identity needed on top of that for a £500 console. Also not liking the should allow you to pay off part in the brief terms:
Finance is only available to permanent UK residents aged 18+, subject to status, terms and conditions apply. Klarna Bank AB (publ) registered office: Sveavägen 46, 111 34 ...
We'll see in December with The Medium I suppose.
