Pretty much
"with smart delivery you can buy one game for what ever Xbox console and it will automatically give you the right version."
Only if you buy the Xbox One version of games will Smart Delivery give you the Series X/S version of it (and the publisher/dev has signed onto it), if you have a 360 game it will only have one version which will be played via BC
@Bathyj
Yes I would, not enough games announced that I want to play now on either next gen console (that isn't coming to PC) to warrant buying one right now.
Glad you found you needed an upgrade right now, I wont try and pick your choice apart though.
I'd wait for a mid-gen upgrade/Pro (or similar)
I was looking at AMD while still waiting in a 3080 queue (still in a Q) the things that concern me are the SAM which benchmarks have been using require a new AMD CPU and a new motherboard (for the majority). Plus RT has not been finalized and will be coming next year. It is good to see AMD compete like this with NVidia though, hope they can keep it up.
Indeed
If the PS5 doesn't output 1440p but outputs at 4k, a lot of monitors will just say signal out of range as they will not accept 4k.
Wonder when they will compare the PS5 vs PC, will be interesting to see.
That soon? Must of had a crunch start.
"the greenest hostage-taker in history."
You saying The Hulk did it? :D
Nope
It does look nice.

And it hasn't even launched
Not surprising they look similar in an older but polished for next gen game, will be great when they compare next gen titles on both.
Very true.
Exactly
"LOL maybe it disappeared because he now works for Microsoft yes?"
Lol possibly, but I still do not agree with the statement that PC games do not scale across different hardware.
The tweet by Gneitling linked in that article (link is https://twitter.com/axelgne... has disappeared, makes you wonder why when games do scale fine across minimum/maximum spec PC's
Nice gesture, he was certainly dedicated to getting the systems asap.
I'm making an assumption they are talking about bugs/performance issues:
"I just think that it falls short of its counterpart on the PC. Will I ever log back in? Who knows. Maybe in the future some serious patches that needs doing "
