Looking good, getting a Bioshock in the Alien universe (aesthetically) vibe from it, with the gun from Existenz.

@averagejoe26

There are people with 8k monitors though.

That's why people need to read the articles, most headlines are just to get you to click.

Disgusting filth, I backed the full game straight away.

@Pat_11_5

Indeed but the OP said 1440p @ 120 Hz/fps

You might be thinking of needing 2.1 for VRR?

1965d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Because they are better cards than the 20 series?

1968d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Not for the pictures here no, but the game will have them along with DLSS 2.0 support

@BrettAwesome:
Not just me and my friends (which I least have...............):

2K displays are those whose width falls in the 2,000-pixel range. More often than not, you'll find 2K monitors with a display resolution of 2560x1440, that's why it's often shortened to 1440p. However, this resolution is officially considered Quad HD (QHD). As such, many monitors claim their resolution as 2K Q

Indeed they will, people who do this kind of thing think they will make money but that's not how it works (anymore).

Why did they only find out/file the real TM now?

1969d ago 1 agree4 disagreeView comment

@BrettAwesome

I did mean 2560 (doh), but no one calls (or not many) 1080p 2k they call it 1080p, I use 1440p (which is why I said 1440p/2k, depends on your point of view) but a lot say 2k never heard anyone say 2.5k ever or 3.9 k for TV's.

1969d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

@BrettAwesome

Then what is 2160*1440?

1970d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

"I understand 1440p on a 1080p screen will still give a nicer looking image."

It should indeed if the TV can accept 1440p to begin with (Why I prefer monitors as they have greater acceptance of resolutions) some TV's (even monitors) will not accept a higher resolution than they are capable of at all.

I do agree about the people making fun of the S, especially when we have had mechanisms like checkerboard, upscaling involved in last gen just ...

I own and game on a 1440p monitor (and why I own a One X as it outputs at 1440p), but that's beside the point, can't 4k TV's display 1440p/2k natively as they do 1080p?

@jairusmonillas

What has that got to do with drive speed? Lol

"Isn't the Series X coming out in November 10th? What do you mean December?"

Yes but the OP just mentioned new games not ones on release of the console.................what do you have in mind as a comparison for the storage drives?
