@Crotaaa
Well you see genius, the Switch can play local multiplayer in portable mode. So taking it somewhere means that you may not be playing single player because two people can play and perhaps just maybe, somewhere in the world a few people who all have a Switch will get together and play wherever they are. In fact with 2 Switches that means 4 people can play anywhere! That's actually the selling point of the Switch so maybe you should think things through before sp...
Oh wow, did this piss off the people that like to hate on Nintendo. Although a few of these games are ports ARMS and Splatoon 2 look super fun and there's a pretty good slew of great indie games coming out this summer to help out a bit with timed exclusives, etc. It's so funny how angry people get at the slight mention of the Switch having some more games and maybe, just maybe, competing a bit with Playstation and Xbox. Just wow.
Lol, whether you liked it or not saying the last two iterations didn't do too good is extremely ignorant. The Wii U was an absolute dud but the Wii crushed every other console that generation by a long shot mate. Might want to do a bit of homework before you make a fool of yourself.
You know that that is only one way to add each other as friends right? There's a whole slew of other ways already in place or that are going to be in place to add friends. Believe it or not some young kids actually don't have an email or Facebook page and friend codes make a lot of sense for them to easily find each other online.
@gums007 you must not have read the article because although he acknowledged his negativity the article is very well written and does nothing but praise Breath of the Wild. He gets at a really core concept that is hard to put in words and does so beautifully. Great article, really worth the read.
This game looks amazing. I never got the chance to pick up FAST on the Wii U so this will be a real treat on my Switch.
This is pretty hilarious. I'm probably one of the biggest Nintendo fans out there but this is just stupid. Even though it might be making fun of them I'm down for a Nintendo reference like this especially as a joke.
The problem with that mentality is what if Nintendo does produce a masterpiece? With your logic it could never be a true 10. If you think Nintendo can't be judged harshly look at reviews for Starfox Zero. Nintendo makes great games just like many other companies. Constantly downplaying them just for the namesake is ignorant and immature.
Well if you did a little research you might realize that the new Zelda is a new and forward thinking game even though it's set in a huge IP. People seem to assume all Zelda games are the same. Unlike most IPS out there Zelda maintains similar elements but often has vast differences in each game. The premise of this game blew me away and may be one of the first "truly" open world games.
Why is the only argument against Zelda the fact it looks like it's for kids because of the art style? Are you really so worried about what the other kids on the playground will say about you that you won't even try a game if it has an art style that's not trying to look real? What a sad existence you people live in...
"I won't jump onto the hype train... Bring on Horizon!" Lol...
The only reason they're mad is because the score came out at the same time as Horizon and it was one measly point less. If these two reviews happened at different times it would be a whole different story.
I love how he says grinding like it's a generic RPG with a level system.
Oh, you've played it? You know the fields are empty? What type of fetch/grinding was in the game? Oh wait, you've haven't played it. You sound like you're describing an RPG and obviously don't know much about this game. Seriously man, do a bit more homework before you try to make a biased statement based off other people's opinions who have also not played the game. Otherwise no one will believe you and your precious opinion.
Yeah! Why continue making insanely great games in a universe people love! Do something different.
Well perhaps you need to realize that there is more to a game than the graphics like perhaps, I don't know, gameplay? Whatever you may think it "looks" like the fact of the matter is that how fun it is to play is what most of a games judgement should be based on. They stated in their review that it brought back a sense of wonder and awe they hadn't felt in 20 years. Try playing it before judge it completely off what it "looks" like. You're pathetic...
Considering some game developers like to include manuals (The Binding of Isaac) why make a case so small you can't fit any extras in it for game developers, and you can't even see it on a shelf? Vita games take up even less space but nobody is complaining about them. How on earth could they get away with selling a game in a case the size of a fifty cent piece? People really are thick these days...
This will be a great game for the Switch. Super stoked.
The point is to allow game makers the option of including manuals and other goodies like The Binding of Isaac is. With your logic disc based games should be sold in paper sleeves to save on shipping and the environment.
Seriously. The only time you're going to play it for longer than that is if you're going on a very lengthy trip, such as an airplane ride, in which case you're probably bringing along ways to charge your devices anywho. Plus cars have places to charge and most airplanes are adding places to plug in devices as well.
