XB1 lost e3 last year which carried over to the actual sales of XB1 vs PS4 so far.
yea ... I love Nintendo and I am enjoying my Wii U but with the lack of full third party support, the core gamers (in general) will at best view the Wii U as a secondary console. It is really hard being a main console without the FULL support from WB Games, EA, Activision, Take-Two, UBIsoft, Capcom, Konami, etc etc.
For Wii U to win, it's only chance would be if it got the casuals hooked like it did with Wii Sports and Wii Fit on the Wii but the Wii U's price is abo...
Mario Kart 8 is a ton of fun online and it's sales are well deserved.
It's a damn shame WB doesn't believe in it's other DC characters. Even though it seems this is really a Justice League game, they are still calling this Lego Batman.
1. They had new IPs ... where you paying attention at all?
2. New IP is overrated. New GAMEPLAY ideas is more important. Nintendo franchises normally go through multiple changes to core mechanics which is the reason so many of them were huge 25 years ago and are still huge today.
Microsoft lost due to DRM, forced kinect, and cost of the system.
Microsoft easily had a better launch lineup than PS4 did (Killer Instinct, Forza, Dead Rising > Knack and Killzone) but they seriously hurt themselves and lost the goodwill of gamers with their decisions at e3 earlier that year.
Sony then dug them a bigger grave not with better games but just by saying the exact opposite Microsoft said. That won Sony e3 last year and the goodwill of the fan...
All joking aside ... it has cemented it's place as a true gamer's best second console of choice if you own either a gaming PC, PS4 or XB1.
It doesn't have the third party support so it is hard to put it as a primary system for MOST gamers who loves all studios (Capcom, Konami, Square, EA, Rockstar, etc etc studios) but it does have by far the best exclusives games coming (and currently already) so it is easily the best companion/secondary system to own if you own ...

You only need one of the following ... PC, PS4, XB1 for the multiplatforms. Heck to be honest ... a PS3 and 360 would do as most of these games in 2014 are still coming to last gen as well.
