What exactly is the point of doing something like this for the hackers?
What do they get from it?
I just find it a complete waste of their talent. Instead of making money with it, they are just risking going to jail for nothing.
Then it's not "ALL" which was emphasized in Fox's post.
I don't know why anyone would express interest in this game.
No Smash Bros for Wii U?
.... yea ok.
Warlock looks great ... will add to my indie watch game list.
Can someone explain how or why kickstarter works for these indie game companies though? They already got the game running?
Is it more of a safety net in case it doesn't sell and/or for marketing purposes?
I mean for example, does Inafune need a kickstarter for Mighty No. 9? Doesn't he already have a ton of money from his years at Capcom as producer?
Fantastic concept ... poor execution.
Not just in it's first year 360 level graphics but also in it's variety in the gameplay.
If they kept this game under development for one more year and on a more powerful game engine, it could have been something truly special.
Unfortunate.
Agree ... Shovel Knight and Guacamelee are imo better than the vast majority of these big budgeted "AAA" published games.
Unless it's a game in that old school style yet is still very much new like Shovel Knight, Gucuamelee and others.
These games expand on the old school style and give us NEW experiences in those genres.
It really is a shame really that many passed on this game. It is so unique and high quality ... real shame we will probably never get a sequel.
That .... oh man ... that final battle was epic in a literal sense.
A 7 out of 10 is labeled as "good" on most sites.
If u have a PS4 or gaming PC .. I say Wii U.
All their big games are exclusives.
Wonderful 101 was my personal Game of the Year last year.
Yes I did play and beat Last of Us, Grand Theft Auto V, Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds.
I just personally found Wonderful 101 to be that damn good.
You guys do know that not everyone loved Last of Us right? It's all a matter of opinion.
Last of Us overall got amazing reviews.
Hyrule Warriors overall is getting pretty good reviews.
But these are the averages. You can find individual reviews are going to go to both extremes of highs and lows for any game.
No single review should matter more to you than your own personal review no matter how many people agree or disagree with ...
My PERSONAL list would be ...
1. MW2
2. MW3
3. Black Ops 1
4. CoD4 (didn't play much)
Didn't really like Blops 2 much and I didn't buy Ghost. My first CoD was MW2 which is probably why it's my favorite.
That is because those games just keep selling. Mario Kart 7 is always around the top 30 or so best sellers every month thus from a business standpoint ... there is no need to price drop them.
Japan really does love mobile gaming but it's also because mobile gaming RIGHT NOW probably does have better games overall the the "next gen" consoles as well.
I know I hardly have put down my 3DS and Vita.
Oh well ... out of bubbles ... so this is my last post on this thread.
I was 100% HOOKED on Call of Duty from MW2, Blops 1 and MW3.
It was with Blops 2 that I started to lose interest and then I didn't buy Ghost.
With that said ... the franchise does hold a special place in my heart and gave me hundreds and hundreds of great gaming.
The internet is just too harsh on it because it is so successful.
Just support the games you love and if you don't like Call of Duty ... don't buy it lik...
True but that is a Wii U to 3DS comparison. Everything sees better on 3DS especially in Japan.
... thus it's boring.
