True. It's like people forget about great games just because it doesn't sell 10mil copies
sigh
The PSP version would actually be better...
Better online. :)
Don't retailers usually get their info from publishers, anyways? Especially big retailers like GAME
Retailers might be wrong about release dates, but rarely do they confuse the games and their platforms. At least not from my experience.
I guess Sony must be rolling and swimming in cash....
>_>
Might hit 170k the first week if sales tend to tread after the first day. Looks like Monster Hunter on the wii will fall in line with the PS2 versions, rather than the PSP versions.
Then again this is a straight port of G on PS2. But, It'd be interesting to know how many consoles are shifted, and wheather or not the PSP fanbase cares about the console iteration...
Anyways, I hope the new Monster Hunter 3G for PSP, or whatever it's called comes out next year along w...
For sure
Yeah. There are lots of other great shooters on other platforms, but I guess this is just specific to PlayStation.
Killzone 2 MP>>>> COD ( Killzone does have its problems, but the formula and kills are great)
And to think Killzone 3 will top that...
So...
1. Golden Eye 007 (nostalgia)
2. Killzone 2
3. Call of Duty 4
Never played Half-Life.
RE5 really set the bar with its co op. Infact, if it didn't have co op, it would be trash. Not saying Uncharted would be because Uncharted is a great SP experience. But, Uncharted would only benifit from such a feature. I can't see Naughty Dog adding competitive modes, though.
If you look on Sony's website, you can see the official or early box shot for Uncharted 2 with the "Only on PlayStation" and " PlayStation Network" logos on it.
Sony usually has only the "Only on PlayStation" logo if it only has a single player and is exclusive-- like inFamous, for instance, and the " PlayStation Network" logo if it has multiplayer. Could this mean a multiplayer Uncharted like rumored?
So, Nintendo is the king of the hardcore market? lawl. Biggest laugh today.
Have fun with Cooking Mama 4. When the wii is gone and forgotten, what will it have to show for itself? A sea of average games that eclipse the good ones? Not that any of these executives care, but to us old school gamers the wii is nothing but a toy you take out when family is around.
edit: I'm sorry if I offended anyone
Well, that may be.. because innovation always drives future growth. But, wii consumers I think are generally not past gamers, and are now susceptible to other platforms that maybe offer different experiences not common with the wii.
All this website does it talk about Sony
hahaha. You're that dude who got owned by Jaffe and banned from Gaf? hahaha
This might be refering to a playable e3 demo build, not a downloadable one.
Sale a lot of hardware= strong software sales from adopters. The more hardware you sell, the better ratio of first adopters buying a game.
So, in your logic people would buy a repackaged Golden Eye- or Doom-- even, at full value in a competitive market dominated by HD software?
Sure, the Conduit might be good-- great even, but it's still competing with HD software, wheather you realise it or not. Heck, I think the wii might be competing for the core audience, if Mad World's poor sales are any indication.
You totally missed his point.
