Great to know devs have been working on games for a year already.
I wonder if the Morpheus will work for PC.
Remote play, Move, PS Eye, Dualshock controllers, everything has worked on PC.
edit: This isn't a priority though, let's just focus on this thing being released with quality games and not distract the PS4'S VR to PC compatibility.
sadly alot of them do. as I've learn from other forums.
So far so good. I hope this thing will be as perfect as it sounds.
Yeah I'd say it's wishful thinking. PS Home was a proof of concept for PSN, it showed and tested that alot of people could interact online with minigames and people chatting at the same time.
I think it would be really cool to have a PS Home for the PS4 with VR. It's such a simple concept, it wouldn't be hard to make.
But the problem is Home wasn't that successful, most gamers didn't really like it.
Oculus is vaporware, not only will it never come out but it doesn't have to, and after it comes out if it does, there's no need to create games for it.
With Playstation, they make their money from the games, so it's guaranteed to get support and an actual release.
There's no reason why the PS4's camera can't do the same hand and body movement tracking.
I'd really love to play a first person game with the 3d headset and my actual hands interacting with the game.
unless of course you mean you'd prefer just hand/body tracking without VR, in which case you'd have to be crazy since the 360's Kinect is a complete failure and is disrespected by most gamers.
I really hope they're serious about this.
One concern is whether they'll release this before or after the Oculus Rift, I think it should come out earlier since there's a huge demand for it.
Imagine if this Project Morpheus came out first, they could easily absorb all the hype the Oculus has been building up.
it's not about resolutions mate.
Sony's one is more official. this Project Morpheus will be used with AAA first party games, while the Oculus is only used for short indie demos and poorly made mods of existing games.
you could an an actual wii sensor bar, the cable it has is only for power. you can get battery powered ones.
with that said though, when I tried to set up the emulator with the controller I couldn't figure it out.
What makes you think there are more people playing the 360?
MS stopped supporting it years ago.
The PS3 is much more relevant.

wow, we're comparing console wars to creating charities??
these vague hints do nothing for me, make announcements and actually reveal something if they want any impact.
it seems this is just positive PR spin following Titan Fall's release. they're trying to strike while the iron is hot.
remember this guy worked on Gears Of War, he has reason to be biased.
people want those extra 72 pixels!
i assume anyone who is interested in the xboner already has a 360, so they might aswell get it for the 360 since it's the same graphical resolution. save $550.
I don't think ported games should count.
What version of the engine is this? Is it working on consoles?
edit: I commented before watching, it's a joke video, the water is completely dry looking, it's just large transparent flakes.
it's not named after Matrix. and the final name will not be "Project Morpheus".
