maybe it should have same-sex relations, but really this game is so twisted that it's focus is what's wrong with it rather than what's right with it. (the robot voices, the lack of "game" elements, the bizarre dream sequences, the virtual boy references, etc.)

In the ideal Pokemon game you should be able to become a gym leader or the champion of the elite four and battle trainers.
I think it should also let you take other roles like Ash's friends in the anime, breeder, photographer, conservationist.

One thing that I expect to be improved is the slowdowns when enemies are loaded. That kinda ruined the game on PS3 for me since it was big warning every time you're about to encounter enemies. Seeing them by surprise while you're sneaking around is the way it should be.
I wonder if there will be any use of the lightbar, speaker and touchpad on the controller like Tomb Raider did?

they should be releasing gamecube virtual console games, not this crap we've played recently on 3DS.
there should be enough spare processing room though.
look at PS2 remasters, they're all in 1080p 3D 60FPS due to the PS3 having more power. All PS2 games easily run like that.

so 30fps and prerendered cutscenes. this cash-in is a half arsed fail.
I imagine it'll play exactly like Mario Kart 7 considering how similar they look and sound. (the powersliding has changed since the N64 version)
