"I play the games not the machine"
Pretty self-contradictory coming from such a console fanboy as yourself. By saying that, you're saying that console preference really doesn't matter in the long run, which is right, but I can see from your comment history that you don't hold true to that statement at all.
Lol, hilarious. All the other 360 adverts suck, to think we could have had a good one...
Well written review, mate. It was a good read. It is one hell of a game.
However, I'd like to see Mr. Miyamoto come up with an original idea or character for a game, outside of his usual 'icons'.
He can't, so I don't respect the man. He couldn't even bring himself to admit that Mario galaxy borrowed from Ratchet & Clank.
He may be hailed as 'the Grandfather of gaming' or some crap like that, but character-wise he's just petty, sull of self-importance...
I don't like Edge, they mistake harshness and outright bias for integrity.
They gave Halo 3 a 10. I'm sorry, but is this not supposed to be the harshest mag out there? Whatever...
I'm English, and I sure as hell don't respect them. They're full of crap and self-importance.
Yes, he probably did. Having a different opinion from you doesn't make him wrong.
@ Executive: When did the term 'AAA' start meaning 'scored over 90 on metacritic'. Last time I checked, people possessed the ability to decide how good a game is for themselves.
EDIT: I wasn't trying to contradict you or anything, Executive. I'm on your side, sorry if I conveyed myself wrongly. You were very nice about it, though, so I'll give you a bubble :)
And what does 'AAA' mean, exactly? No, wait, let me guess... it means a game that scored over 90 on Metacritic, right? Get a life. This 'AAA games' argument is getting weak.
The quality of a game is defined by the user who experiences it, not what a group of critics tell you to think. Grow a brain, start thinking for yourself. Gamers play games, not consoles. You're just another one who's lost sight of that fact.
I can guarantee if Microsoft came across you being at...
The PS3 has had the best first year of any console so far.
Of course, that's subject to opinion, I'm sure some people will find fault with Uncharted, Rathcet & Clank, Heavenly Sword, Motorstorm, Resistance, Warhawk, and all the multiplats, like COD4.
The point is, people only buy those games because they're made by Nintendo, and Nintendo can get away with what they want... because it's Nintendo.
As for every Mario game having new gameplay mechanics... well, if you're referring to Galaxy's gameplay, which revolves around each planet having it's own gravitational pull... ripped off of Ratchet & Clank.
Sure, it's fun, but people moan about microsoft and EA, when nintendo are in fact worse than either of those co...
Nice, I'll tell my mate to look that one up. He loves Mass Effect, I think it's pretty awesome too.
Preeecisely, my friend.
Bubble.
Yeah, predictable stories do indeed suck, but millions of people still flock to buy the next Mario, Zelda or other Nintendo game. When's the last time Nintendo came up with an origninal idea or character for a game, outside of their usual 'icons'?
...exactly.
Well, I'd rather they do that, than force you to cancel your account. Sony don't seem to mind the use of multiple accounts at all. Once, when the Uncharted demo came out on the US PSN store, it was accidentally region-locked so that users outside of the US couldn't download and play it. Sony then fixed the problem, so that people outside of the US lying about their location could play it.
Sweet deal, if you ask me. For Sony and their customers.
I agree with you that console gaming is becoming a lot like PC gaming. Thank god we have Nintendo, or this generation would have just been a hardware war between Micorsoft and Sony...
I don't know if Sonic doesn't work in 3d (Sonic Adventure for the Dreamcast ruled) but it is hard to pull off.
A side-scroller for handheld consoles would be great, or even a downloadable title.
While I agree that the majority on this site don't know what they're talking about, you shouldn't make the mistake of thinking that you're more clever than others, because anyone can be clever when they're sitting behind a keyboard. Everyone's been wrong at least once in their life.
I'm not saying you are wrong, it's just a wee bit presumptive of you to imply that you're too educated for people to understand you. If trying to ake people understand was truly a waste of your time, ...
Maybe that's why Edge rip every game that isn't near perfect apart for very little good reason, because developers send them games while they're still halfway through development! See, it all makes sense now...
Ok, banana pervert, calm down. There's no need to say things like that, although it did make me laugh a bit.
X-box, X-box, X-box, X-box, X-box, X-box, X-box, X-box X-box, X-box, X-box, X-box X-box, X-box, X-box, X-box...
poo's, lol.
Anyway, this could have happened on any online community. To be perfectly honest, I don't think the child was damged in any way whatsoever. I mean, why would he be? He's going to (hopefully) have sex with someone at some point! He may as well learn the anatomical features of the opposite sex now ;)
Sorry, snukawhatever. The PS3 does not have a 33% failure right. Oh well, guess it's an easy mistake to make, especially when you only see what you want to...
