I don't think Sony have anything to prove this gen, so price cuts won't be nearly as big a deal for them as they are to Microsoft.
I don't really think Microsoft came into this generation thinking they would come out the winner, they seem to just be trying to make the most out of their run. Why does GTA4 seem to be such a big deal to them, and not to Sony?

I'm Brithish, and I've been to Holland, and I can honestly say that statement is beyond untrue.

I have played SMG. It's awesome, GOTY for sure (IMO).
My problem is that in a good ten years or so, Nintendo have got by without once injecting their franchises with any sort of innovation or originality whatsoever.
I also don't see how the Wii was a risk at all, in fact, out of the three current-gen consoles, it's the one that took the least risks.
