Don't make the game SUper Dark, where it feels like i'm summoning demons in my basement. TM2 was the success it was, because of the VARIETY and it didn't take itself too seriuosly.

If you think the cars feel stiff and lifeless your not a car enthusiast at all.
The cars have amazing physics and finally have the "BITE" feel of rubber on pavement. If anything i'm completely satisfied with teh physics and the damage will be better then forza (which is horrible). It'll be just enough so that the "Gamer", who plays GT5 online, will be detered to screw up the real "Car Enthusiasts", during a race.
but based on the technology in OnLive, I think they have proprietary stuff that makes the experience much better.
I won't personally use it, cause God willing, I'd have a PC, but its good as the dollar collapse's to give poorer and poorer Americans the ability to play top end games on any device.
But we PS3 owners took it over during the console life cycle. You can see the trend of more and moer gamers (espeically older) buying PS3's and being very happy with them.
It happened over time and we fought hard and took bullets to the gut every day before THE PS3 EVEN LAUNCHED! I was here before then and many of these people were as well and guess who is still standing?

What you say is true. The options for TCS/ASM were preset to mimic the real car settings for lap times.
The Time Trial demo was awesome. The new physics and feedback really add that little bit that was missing from GTs in the past. You can finally feel the Rubber dig into the road surface. Physics-wise, GT5 looks near-perfect to me.
I'll reserve judgement on the collision solution PD has come up with. Even a very barebones collision model is ok with me. Just something to prevent user's from cheating online, thats basically all. I am super pumped for GT5 though and i'm sure i'll exp...
I've read and seen pretty terrible things (And i'm a collector).
Its really hard to justify giving my money to a company who has been dissapointing for years and moving in the wrong direction. FF12 was praoblya s bad as it has gotten ever, the characters were horrid.
13 has no towns or anything, i'll pass.
