Online Multiplayer is fun, but does TM really lend itself well to that kind of removed atmosphere?
I say removed because much of the emotion in the game came from playing with people right next to you. An FPS can thrive on emotionless gaming because it relies squarely on Competitiveness, but a game like TM? I don't think it would do well, unless he tries to place the 'feeling' of sitting next to your buddies and playing. Maybe camera support? i dont know. Its something to think...
Most of the low scores, you can bet came from gamers who want nothing more then your nintendo based games. Jumping, shooting, swinging, fighting etc... Everything that boys like.

The ground work has improved substantially. It really makes an already amazing creation even better.
I only bought it on ps3 because i have all the other star oceans, but man, these japanese devs are really horrible now a days. I mean this goes for ANY DEVELOPER who can't ratchet out native 720p.

I just don't feel like this game is a real "next-gen" experience. It feels very cheap and that bothers me when Valve is behind it. Besides Half-Life, valve really doesn't do any other games at that level.
I don't think game deserves the sales and am quite baffled as to why the teenager 'xbox' generation actually puts their money into this 1/2 a$$ crap, but a dollar spent is a vote. SO if this is the kinda game you want, then keep buying it. I personally wont.

I do agree that the transfer of personnal information form 1 enterprise to another doesn't seem like it should be legal, without the person's consent.

They removed everything RPGish about it and turned it into a linear cinematic. I may actually pass on FF13 (and i have every FF ever, with strat guides all mint)
I'm super dissapointed. I think WKC is a good game. Bad? no. Amazing? no. Good? yes.

The biggest problems with "videogames" is the lack of compelling story that has or (can) be told through it as a medium. That is why you have someone like David Cage, trying something new, because he HAS a story and WANTS to tell it, but he also wants you to feel a part of it, not just an observer.

That drew me into the story very very quickly, as one of the most basic fears is losing track of your children.

I could of sworn there was a console with an [X] that has had HUGE problems that continue to persist even now. I can also recall a Garbage launch line-up for said console and the added fact that their 1st party studios have DECREASED in this generation.
