:)
Made my choice easy.
...Penalizing is NOT the right answer. Grant a BONUS for successful completion instead.
I loved it, but if you compare it to popular games, its just much easier to kill someone. Wrestling with the controller isn't what most people call fun. I sunk almost 100hrs into kz2 and loved it, but I can surely see the failings.
Some quality journalism.
Extracts exactly WHAT is being halted. News is 90% idiotic and 10% informative.
This is in the 10%.
Not sellout for "Mainstream Appeal"
Oh heres another idea....
Create unique characters
(The characters have been piss poor, for years)
For a flop of a game.
yea I said it. Dante's Inferno is a Flop.
The only thing to "intergrate" into face book would be trophies, game purchase's and this new game events thing.
What else are you going to intergrate?
If you want to physically use the Facebook site, then the browser is the best possible option. Xbox had to jam in a proprietary method because they are withholding a browser, so that they can stick PIPE IN, their users with additional advertisements. Its the EXACT same thing that Microsoft is doing with Char...
But i agree that with 32 players the online can get alittle iffy. The game is meant for 16-24 players.
I think that alone was one of the main faults of kz2 and ofcourse the difficulty to aim on a target and KEEP your aim on that said target for longer then 1 second. It just makes it too hard to kill people, when they take 30 bullets and you can't keep yoru reticle on the target.
...Is because its too hard to kill someone. With limited Auto-aim (in scope mode) and the sheer amount of life players have, it is a circus to keep your reticle on your target.
If the guns killed quickly (like in cod) I have no doubt more people would really like it.
XBL vs. PSN is MEANINGLESS when talking about Online gaming performance.
The only issue people should clearly understand, is Microsoft's skill at crafting operating systems and how they are charging YOU the consumer service fees to use it. The way they do this, is by Forcing you to pay to play a game online, which already has the online component developed and server's hosted (by the company). Your literally under the Facade of paying, because Microsoft is doing something like Ho...
But it had framerate problems and the gameplay wasn't anything new. Factor in how short it was and you got a problem. I think a more skill-based system like demon's souls or ninja gaiden would be much better. And put nariko in an open environment AND throw in some small rpg elements.
(Just dont make the open environment "mission based" I HATE HATE HATE THAT, Be innovative!)
Instant success.
Some of these fans are really giving us TRUE ps3 fans a bad name. They are borderline idiotic.
That black screen doesn't always happen.
I've had it happen a handful of times, but its not consistent.
And yet no one knows about it????
REQUIRE it sony. Its foolish not too. Its your platforms "Experience" on the line!
GO Kazunori and Polyphony Digital!!
WOOOT
if it AVERAGES the team. Technically by "experience" alone the teams are even.
Even if your lvl 1, if your team wins you get a bonus. Even a Level 1 can get kills. COD is easy to play.
As far as FFA is concerned, I'd assume as many 'available' players within a range of 5 to 10 levels are chosen. Available being the KEY word.
Truth is, if the leader backs out then the other members, they will be returned to the lobby/party screen together. If only the leader backs out it is not going to force you to follow.
its optional to the member of the party.
Nothing is broken, it seems as though it was designed this way. Nothing earth shattering.
The matchmaking does its best to average all the players levels.
Seems good enough to me. I believe it works the same on any platform.
Too bad I don't buy many ubisoft games. I don't think I have even one.
And why wouldn't you want your entire library on the fewest brands as possible....For me its Playstation and will remain that way. MW2 really showed the potential of the x-game invite and chats etc...
Developers will follow suit and they will have similar online experiences. I'm all about the Triple right now! woo wooo
