They would. That said I don't have a problem with lower quality games being released as long as they work and don't damage your console, it's not like this is the first time a game has easy trophies either.

Doesn't sound like the author doesn't really like gaming that much. Every game doesn't have to be innovative or bring something new to the table, The Last of Us, The Witcher 3, Doom, Horizon, Bloodborne and more did nothing innovative and that's fine because they were fantastic games. Since when has having great games to play underwhelming? There wasn't anymore innovation last gen.
