The title of this article indicates a predisposed bias vs actual journalism
This article is such a circle jerk.
"Water is wet," says analyst.
Seriously, how do I become an "analyst"? Seems like a sweet gig getting paid to state the obvious
Wolf kills it in every way. No contest here whatsoever
If you think of it, that's not even possible. There's no physical equity in a digital download as where there is a market, both to those online and off, in physical disc based games. The solution to your problem would be in allowing digital rentals of the most recent indie games. $10 for a 15 day rental would be fair and equitable.
P.S. If any game has replay value it's this one, if only to show your friends and family. It's that good
The game is a masterpiece. And I honestly hate 95% of indie side scrollers
I hate a lot of 2D indie games but seriously, this game is a masterpiece. Play it if you hate or love indies. Play it if you can enjoy a subtle story that demands your own interpretations. This game is a work of art. Bottom line: play it. It's more than deserving of its $20 price tag. Masterpiece. I can't stress that enough!
Cool story, bro.
This is one time when I encourage the disagrees (does wonders for the self esteem)
Pc has some great games. But I find it way more inconvenient compared to a console. Sometimes I like to sit down on my couch, grab a controller and veg out. With a pc, I can't do that, it's a major commitment to go upstairs to the computer room to play.
That settles it. Your cock is WAY bigger than mine.
Who plays video games to make money apart from a caffeine ridden few?
You think that's the problem? Bc I'd see server costs as a fixed expense / standard overhead. Seriously, correct me if I'm wrong because I never handled IT budgets before and I'd love to know. I personally think the modest increase is because A. The market will bear it; B. People have been demanding 'better' monthly freebies and from what I understand, developers are paid on a per download basis when their game is offered; and C. The value of the dollar decreases over ...
That's really a terrible idea. It would dissuade people from upgrading. For the love of God, please think first before hammering at the keys. If you're crying over a $10 increase in an annual service, then you have some major financial issues and should resolve them before spending more money on video games.
The people who got refunds for 50+ gameplay hours of no mans sky are the same ones crying here. If $10 causes financial hardship then that person should not be playing video games because they have bigger issues
They've been under flack for their game offerings each month. I see this as a direct result of that. Not to mention Microsoft has been charging $60 / year since 2010 or so. The market can bear it. Now if it increased to $99 like Amazon prime, different story.
People just whine and whine and whine. $10 is nothing. I practically spend $10 waking up each day. I ate a single meal at panera bread earlier - $11. A company charging $10 extra for an annual service will not break my bank account, and if it has the propensity to break someone's bank then they should stop playing video games immediately bc they have bigger things to worry about
This article seems suspicious. Writers block? You're about a week late to the party, champ. Whine all you want over an extra expense of 83¢ per month. Nobody cares because you know you'll pay it. I'm guessing you're also the type of person who played no mans sky for 50 hours and got a refund?
Slow down man. Your grammar gave me a headache
Dude download an LFG app and connect with other gamers. There's new ones like every 30 seconds. You're just making excuses as to why you don't want to play it. I just jumped back in yesterday at level 30 and I'm having a blast
